They won’t believe it, Putin knows they won’t believe it but what are they gonna do about it? It’s these exact methods which help him to maintain power and stability. For all the talk of a coup, he’s once again emerged in a position which is generally unscathed long term.

Fortunately Enzo will stay more humble than some of our supporters, although it is funny. I think these can be better than their league position suggests. Need to break them down early and just be wise to any counter attacks.

I thought this 15 minutes ago. Not so sure now. Almost damage limitation territory in terms of NRR. -
Rodgers not going so well at Celtic

Good managers dont need luck. -
Crazy how many of you are happy to let KDH go.

Near perfect score? What a nerd.

I am biased in the sense that I like trains, I like travelling by train in different countries, I think if done correctly that train transport is useful, reliable and preferential. I've used high speed rail in both Italy and France this year. Got from Florence to Rome rapidly, in a way that couldn't be replicated here. London is a great global city, Birmingham and Manchester have massively improved under their governance over the past few years. These places have massive economic potential. High speed rail is an integral part of building into that economic potential, spreading services outside of London and making it more attractive proposition to invest in these places. While some argue rural Britain needs more, a thriving Manchester would benefit everywhere in the North West, in a similar way to what a thriving Leeds would do in Yorkshire, let's not forget they lost HS2 too. I think it's more symbolic than anything. Brexit was sold around this false nostalgia that we are an ambitious country who can stand on our own two feet. This has just proven that we are neither ambitious or can stand on our two feet. With all of the other infrastructure issues in this country, the future feels exceptionally bleak in what should be a time of economic recovery.

That is utterly, utterly crap from Brook. In a bit of trouble here. -

A quarter full is still more than the King Power, that is wild. It's a Wembley plus King Power with 10,000 to spare. -
A strong hard disagree on this. Once it got approved, it HAD to be built in full regardless of the costs. That the costs went up so much is a scandal in itself and for certain will involve profiteering from very rich people who probably have links to the governing party.

This thinking comes from the idea that Burnley are crap, they're not and will still stay up this season, they've just taken time to find their feet and they've generally had tricky games so far. Their opening 7 games have been Man City, Man Utd, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Forest and Luton. 4 points is a good return and they'll pull away as time goes on and they play more teams around them. We would be fine but let's get up first.

10 League Games in - How Would you Rate the Season?
Lionator replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
Apart from 2013/14 and 2015/16 all of our good runs have always felt like bubbles about to burst. I really don’t feel like that now, it’s definitely more the former. As Enzo said this is not play station, we will lose games but so far it’s been outstanding. 9.9/10. -
Please relax. He isn’t going anywhere.

Rumours? 3 of them were funding Leicester’s whole nightlife scene alone for parts of last season.
-
Although not a direct threat to is, Boro are starting to find some form despite their poor start.

I guess it’s a gulf that you would expect given the relative wealth of the people who own the clubs. Also the traffic situation is honestly horrific. How somebody didn’t come up with a mitigating compromise to the roadworks on match days is crazy.

Jury says 5 years for you being strapped to a chair and watching Brendan ball 24/7.

Brendon v Lampard in the old firm would be utterly unbearable. Both sets of fans will be converting to Islam to ensure no affiliation to either club.

He just gets it, football should be fun, players should be loved and not thrown under the bus, now I’m sure a lot of managers could get us promoted with the squad we have but the processes he’s putting in place are what the club needs. We need to back him to high heaven should we go back up.

Bamford just got Begovic sent off with one of the worst dives I’ve seen.

Leicester City 3-0 Preston North End - Post Match Thread

Lol that again went exactly how @StriderHiryu predicted. Sometimes football is very simple. -
I’m starting to really rate Yunus, he has a reading of the game which others don’t.
-
I do wonder if Casadei is more suited to these kinda games whereas Wilf is deadly with space to run into.

Not a chance at 1-0

I don’t get xg. You would expect KDH to score that 6/7 times out of 10 yet our xg only went up by 0.03.
