TODAY IS THE DAY!!!
-
Do these losers ever have a day off from moaning about pointless, asinine crap like this?? I suppose the one upside is that it might put off a few royalists from voting for them.
-
And tonight, insane levels. Littler made a tit of himself too.
-
No chance, unless Hull can’t get through 5 over spells. Then we’ll need singh to have a ‘Robbie Joseph’ iykyk
-
If it’s a green top, does it even matter?
-
Seems like Hull is fit. Gonna be some tough selection decisions throughout the season. I’d do the following but in any order lol. Patel Weatherald Ahmed Hill Eskinazi Budinger Holland Cox Green Scriven Hull

Arguably the most damaging periods post 1945 have been the times when we got on best. In particular the Reagan/Thatcher pivot to late stage capitalism which is essentially the root of all our problems in the UK now, and then obviously the Bush/Blair era was a disaster. Things like Suez when they abandoned us actually turned out better for us in the long run.
-
How are they getting injured after one warmup game ffs
-
We’ll struggle if we can’t keep people fit but I really think the depth in our batting line up will surprise a few teams. Gonna need someone to really step up batting wise and then a bowler to push on (hopefully Hull) and have a sub 20 average season. We’ve got a head start of Sussex who are a mess and shouldn’t fear Glamorgan. There’s only really Surrey squad wise that are streets ahead, maybe Warwickshire and Notts too.
-
Like she says though, when you look at the losses some other clubs are making (Sussex/Middlesex), it’s really not that bad and she talks a good game in terms of trying to increase turnover. And to do that with our best squad in years is some effort too even if it’s a bit thin. Got a lot to learn from Derbyshire I’m sure as they always seem to make a profit which is great to see.

If the US did leave NATO, I don’t think Europe would have any choice but to comprehensively sit down with Russia and change the whole security architecture, unfortunately to their advantage. Or else you’d just end up in an immediate war against a country with 5000 nuclear weapons. American nukes are the one thing that’s prevented that since the 1940’s. Likewise economically we would have to get much closer to China and places like India. If he did it now, it would be interesting to know whether the 2028 winner would reverse it. However you cannot possibly be in a situation where you flip flop in and out of massive security bodies every four years. i don’t think Trump will pull out, and I think it’ll bizarrely keep some stability in Europe as everyone will be too scared to do anything. But he’ll keep threatening and threatening until he leaves office.

Iraq v Bolivia at 4am too!

Italy OUT on pens for the third world cup in a row. They haven’t qualified since 2014!!
-
Seems we made a small profit last season which goes against what others have said??? She seems like a good egg, priorities seem to be in the right place.

His actions have massively ramped up oil prices to be fair. Only idiots support his actions at this current moment.

Insane optics today, I don’t really know what to think of it aside from the silliness of global politics. https://english.alarabiya.net/amp/News/world/2026/03/31/uk-pm-keir-starmer-meets-syrian-president-alsharaa-in-london- This fella was head of Al Nusra which on the scale of terror groups, isn’t quite ISIS but very much on a par with Al Qaeda. Now he’s sat in Downing Street with the PM.

Can’t he just do it by executive order?

After International Break - Clueless as ever?
Lionator replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
Also pretty much all research indicates people make better decisions working 32-37 hours per week rather than more and certainly not 168 hours per week like some people on here seem to think. -

I heard he also takes 7-8 hours off a day to sleep. Outrageous to be honest. -
Nope, I overheard at the Leeds/Bradford game last week a conversation between Titch and someone I didn’t recognised and he was planned to get here on 1st April after the shield final. There’s no reason why Wetherald couldn’t jump on a plane with a days notice really. Visas aren’t really issues with Aussies.

It’s almost like Trump’s stupid and surrounded himself with sycophants. When you listen to Jim Mattis during his first term, you can see the restraint. Now you have lunatics like Hegseth running the show.

This forum be so funny when Ayew bags against England in June.
-
I would imagine Budinger probably. With Rehan at 4, Hill at 5 and Eskinazi at 6. Patel could easily bat at 3 too but you’d probably want that left/right combo at the start. We’re clearly going to play aggressively as it’s probably our best chance so I genuinely don’t think the order is as important as it would be for other teams. We also bat incredibly deep which I think should help us. Holland at 8, Green at 9, Davey/Scriven (FC averages 30) at 10 and Hull at 11.

Agree! Interesting that it says he’s coming to cement his place in the Australian team. Shows that a) he’s motivated b) Aussie selectors seem to rate the county championship higher than the England selectors do these days.
