  1. Switzerland will win this group with a record GD I think, it’s that bad
  2. Yeah Scriven is my favourite to be honest. He just seems to have that level of control that the other young lads don’t.
  3. We really missed an opportunity with Rishi Patel, I know it was all a bit funny but he found something at the end of last season bowling wise. All we’d need is for him to get through 4 overs at less than 8 we could play an extra batter.
  4. We usually start well and fall apart later in the competition so maybe the other way around suits us 😂
  5. This pitch is appalling and you can guarantee if it was Cardiff or Durham, they’d lose a test match over this. Genuinely bouncing lower than Broomleys mid April.
  6. Gay looks like Cook once he gets on that front foot outside off 😍😍😍
  7. In the men’s we’re looking at sadly a very simple Zverev victory right?
  8. It SHOULD still get there. You may even see a result
  9. Honestly man Darren Stevens would have 400 test match wickets if they were kind
  10. I know we’ve been crap but when New Zealand are on it, they’re unreal. And they’ve been that today. Conditions have helped but they’ve bought this rather than us throwing it away.
  11. Thank you, just really struggling. Doing everything they say about ‘reaching out’ then just not getting anything back from services. You’ll tell someone over 111 that you’re really struggling but don’t want to kill yourself and they just give you the ‘computer says no’ treatment
  12. Also please I’m in the absolute pits at the moment so please send me some love, it helps 😂😂 the annoying thing is I have a path to a happy, healthy anxiety and alcohol free life but I just need a bit of help from services and nobody is giving it to me :(. You get to a point where you actively have to try and kill yourself before they’ll give you that 5% support that is often all you need
  13. Hey mate, sorry to read you’re going through this. I’ve ended up on this thread at the minute as I’m also going through a very similar crisis (crippling anxiety, drinking all day, wanting to find ways to stop but services not giving me any support). Hope things are going well, please PM me and maybe we can do this together.
  14. Anyone comparing this to the George Floyd case is either racist, stupid or a grifter, probably all three. You need just a slight inkling and understanding of history to know why (imperialism, slavery, racism). This case has absolutely nothing to do with this within that context. Fine be angry with the police, fine feel some injustice and sympathy for the victim and family but otherwise to be honest it’s so bad.
  15. Scriven got to be straight back in if he’s fit
  16. Also indicates that they’re so completely absent and tone deaf to the support. If you could name the one manager in the world that the fans would be most anxious and upset about, it’s Brussell, and yet here we are.
  17. But even if brown person has used that to excuse his behaviour in the short term, it doesn’t mean that racism doesn’t exist, rather that he’s evil for thinking that? (Not a critique at you rather the whole situation).
  18. But unless I’ve read it wrong, it’s not a racially motivated murder, it’s just a lunatic that likes violence? the defence of that officer is that he thought everyone there was pissed up and it wasn’t a big issue. Idk you hear Tommy Robinson talking about how Sikh people are sound. Your regular EDL marcher loves Sikh people but hey Nigel and Suella see it as a political opportunity to slag off the browns and consolidate their vote.
  19. I understand the family’s despair and the completely piss poor response from the police but I also don’t appreciate the political manipulation of this situation.
  20. Always knew Judd Trump was good cue in hand
  21. One of the issues is that Martin makes it about his style of play, so there’ll always be that disconnection between fans and team. Think the worst excesses of Enzo ball but without the being a good coach thing, which Enzo fortunately was. At this point we basically need a dog of a manager than likes 4-4-2, can develop youth and can actually put some pride in the badge, even if it’s ugly along the way.
  22. Arteta has been a very good manager and this has been six years in the making which shows why sometimes it’s good to give people time. I’d like him to stay in charge purely for the inevitable drop off which will be absolutely hilarious.
