I'm quite liking some of the teams fighting at the top of the Champ so far, us, Ipswich, Birmingham, Preston and Sunderland, Norwich. It has a distinctly late 90s feel about it.

Knew Soton were absolutely wank. They dropped an absolute almighty clanger getting Martin in. I expect them to finish between 7th to 10th. As for us, we should be looking to run away with the league.

I don't think a midfield duo of Drinky and King or Drinky and Hammond gets us up. MJ was our best midfielder that year, obviously DD came into his own in the Premier League.

Higher if anything! Without him it's very unlikely we would have gone up from the Championship. And when we were shit in the PL he was regularly one of our best performers so it's not unrealistic he'd have slotted in the title winners team.
