"No point blaming the people who give me a ticket" Classic attitude of our fans, as long as it's fine for me I don't care about everyone else
-
But you're getting through unofficial means, which loads do I'm not knocking that. If you played by the rules you'd miss out on loads. Baggies sold out at 560+ pretty much and you're bragging about being a member with 2 away points who hasn't given up on getting a ticket? You getting a ticket second hand doesn't justify the crap system that is in place, surely you agree with that

Yesterday also throws the theory in the bin that small allocation = rubbish away atmosphere (full of coach 1 and other "boring regulars"). While that is true it's just as true that when we have a larger allocation and non-regulars get to go that it's just as crap. Fan base is beyond repair, don't understand why people keep going to aways and expecting different results. I've drastically reduced the number of aways I've gone to this year and don't regret it for a second. Maybe this is the same for others who go more for the atmosphere and less for the football, so the conclusion is that away ends are becoming more dominated by those who don't care the atmosphere is non existent?

Can't imagine many others made it, we've had a lot of small allocations as well. QPR and West Brom tickets like gold dust

How many of our away games this season have actually made it down to members?

Ipswich (A) - 26th December - 7:45 KO
Sir Steve Howard replied to moore_94's topic in Ticket News and Travel
About 100 left for this if that's max allocation -
the decent Winks chant does get aired in SK1, hopefully you're not referring to the HARRY HARRY WINKS, HARRY HARRY WINKS chant

That's after the game when half the stadium has left, also don't want to take a leaf out of that bellend's book

Genuinely one of the better home atmospheres going in my opinion. Obviously helped by them being title challengers now but we're top of the league and that hasn't helped our cause.

football is not for you

Don't forget those who couldn't bear to give up THEIR SEAT when the section was moved there, even though they've got zero interest in generating any atmosphere
-
Bellingham wasted in the holding role. Plays no 10 for Real and is arguably the best player in the world currently
-
Incorrect the home team in the final is drawn out the hat (think it's tomorrow), ranking only matters for SF
-
They're in the playoffs regardless of what happens tonight. Would play one of Ukraine/Finland/Iceland in SF in March. Then Poland/Estonia for a place at the Euros

Cardiff away - 29th December (7.45pm)
Sir Steve Howard replied to Permafrost's topic in Ticket News and Travel
99.9% this makes members. Large allocation on a Friday night over Christmas, no public transport unless you stay over. One of the most boring away grounds in the country as well, will be half full with an atmosphere as dead as the KP. Friday night out in Cardiff the only appealing thing about this -
Wouldn't say Wales threw 5 points away against a team they couldn't beat in either game. The 4 points off Croatia is more of an anomaly than Armenia taking 4 off Wales. Now Bale has gone and Ramsey is perennially injured Wales are a mid rate side, much closer to Armenia than Croatia. Armenia walloped Wales 4-2 in Cardiff and based on the 45 mins I saw of Saturday's game were unlucky not to win. Both sides needed a win but Wales offered nothing in the second half and ended up clinging on Wales have Danny Ward in goal. Need I say more.

Mudryk blatantly dived, going down before Cristante touched him. Contact marginal at best but he goes down like he's been shot (maybe not the best terminology given current situation). This is more a general comment but what has happened to refs booking players for diving? Players rarely get booked for horrendous dives, refs just wave calls for a foul away, which emboldens players to give diving a go.

Raiders aren't as bad as people think now McDaniels has (finally) been given the boot. Maxx Crosby is DPOTY in my book. If it wasn't for Jalen Ramsey they'd have beaten the dolphins on the road yesterday

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)
Sir Steve Howard replied to leicsmac's topic in General Football and Sport
Talking about in general rather than today, although you could take him screaming in Shami's face for the second wicket as an example. He's undeniably very irritating, probably intentional on his part to rile up opponents. You could argue his selfish slow scoring to get his century has actually put India at risk here. Strike rate barely over 100 is low considering how many wickets India had in hand, all for his own gain rather than the team. -

Would have loved it Keegan style if he was out first ball but it wasn't to be. Watching his antics in the field for 1 second tells you all you need to know about him. Is he good? yes. Is he a cvnt? very much so. -

Kohli so close to being out for a golden duck, slight inside edge before it smacked into his pad. Fine margins -

Sheffield Wednesday (a) tickets
Sir Steve Howard replied to Happy Fox's topic in Ticket News and Travel
My mate supports Boro and I've been with him to the odd away game for 10+ years now and I've always found their away numbers to be extraordinary for the size of town and their NE location. Little success but UEFA cup final is huge. Agree with the point in general though. 2015/16 average away following for championship (notts forest shambolic) #1 Leeds United - 2,807 #2 Middlesbrough - 2,515 #3 Sheffield Wednesday - 2,510 #4 Derby - 2,125 #5 Burnley - 1,911 #6 Birmingham City - 1,779 #7 Brighton - 1,658 #8 Preston - 1,506 #9 Wolves - 1,470 #10 Forest - 1,443 #11 Hull - 1,393 #12 Ipswich 1,383 #13 Bristol City - 1,263 #14 QPR - 1,204 #15 Huddersfield - 1,128 #16 Blackburn - 1,106 #17 Brentford - 1,103 #18 Rotherham - 1,041 #19 Reading - 1,040 #20 Fulham - 988 #21 Bolton - 911 #22 Cardiff - 748 #23 Charlton - 637 #24 MK Dons - 636
