  1. Your desire to battle on at work despite feeling ill is commendable, but do you work closely with colleagues? If so you could infect them with whatever bug you have which wouldn't be doing them or your employer any favours. Also if you are ill and work it will probably take you longer to recover than if you rest up.
  2. One of my favourite tracks from the Diesel and Dust album and one of several highlighting the Aboriginal people of Australia.
  3. Now we find out if Stoke have a Plan B.
  4. Sorry to hear about your Mum Izzy. We can often deal with our own health problems, and I know that you've had more than your fair share, but we can feel helpless when loved ones become ill. I hope that she's getting some timely treatment.
  5. How many times have we sent a player out on loan only for him to get very little game time? Enzo appears to have no fear in playing loanees which in the longer term will make other clubs more willing to let us have potentially very decent players on loan. The down side is that we send out a below optimum side but we may not need to have our best out today and in any case we have a great bench.
  6. Hi Izzy, thanks for remembering me. I have been ill and I noticed that my posts were becoming more and more negative (and my 'world' was shrinking so much that I couldn't see much past my own condition). So I decided to stop posting and only start up again when things were better. I'm still not in perfect health but I have undergone a procedure which has improved my condition, and I also got the all clear after another investigation causing my GP some concern. So I hope that I'm on the mend now. I started looking at FT a couple of weeks ago and took the plunge and logged in today. I saw that you'd had a bad time with Covid, hope that you're improving now.
  7. I've posted in the 'Best of' and 'Classics' threads before but rarely post live versions of the songs as I think that most people would prefer to listen to the studio versions of the songs that were hits in their day. However I've listened to some great live music, so I thought I'd start a thread just for that. Please post your favourites here. I'll start with one from the 70's.
