  5. I've posted in the 'Best of' and 'Classics' threads before but rarely post live versions of the songs as I think that most people would prefer to listen to the studio versions of the songs that were hits in their day. However I've listened to some great live music, so I thought I'd start a thread just for that. Please post your favourites here. I'll start with one from the 70's.
  6. China, Japan, South Korea and the USA spring to mind (though the USA could be considered to only have one spike, just one that became a lot worse after loosening restrictions). These may not be as bad as the initial spike but show that the virus is still around. I hope that we don't get a UK second spike but I feel that this depends on our behaviours rather than being something we expect not to happen.
  7. Please take a look around the world. There are a number of countries that have been experiencing a 'second wave' of coronavirus cases after lifting lockdown measures. Whilst it is true that case numbers have been declining in the UK in recent weeks there is no reason to suspect that this means that the virus will go away. It is still there and can be transmitted just as easily now as last March when the lockdown was imposed. If cases do significantly increase again the government will be under pressure to re-impose lockdown measures, which few, including myself, want. Our best

  10. We don't need anything that diminishes the reputation of football fans from this country. I had the misfortune to watch the Heysel Stadium disaster in 1985 which was a real low for English football fans in general and Liverpool in particular.
  11. The ayes have it Short message
  12. No faux pas, hit in 1971.

  14. Disappointing but a fair result IMO.
  15. Out of control Not half bad
  16. I feel like part of my childhood just died. I used to look forward to the special occasions when my parents took me to Wicksteed Park for the day. And the little golf course there was my first experience of the game.
