    That’s true, but don’t miss out the crucial part of the comparison / argument - “look how that turned out”. Very, very different circumstances. The Ranieri comparison is a moot point.

    The Ranieri comparison doesn’t work here. He inherited a club on the up, the foundations were set and the chemistry among the players at that time were unlike we’ve seen before or since.

    Ah good stuff! Is the frame built, just awaiting the seat? If so, on a scale of 1 to horrendous, how was the build?
