Avoid jumping in a taxi that isn’t pre booked. We were ripped off a few times. Maybe look to see if they have Uber. Aside from the taxi ripping us off, we jumped on the ferry from Naples to Sorrento which was inexpensive and gave some great views of the bay.

We did exactly this and opted for a tour of the Amalfi Coast over a day out in Capri. edit to add - our Italian friends were distraught when we met them on our trip and told them we didn’t go to Capri. It’s probably worth ticking off to say you’ve been there.

Had a half decent week in the TCR this week. Started by putting it on pole in my first fixed race last night, to be wiped out in T1 by someone from mid pack who completely lost it - pissed me off at the time but nothing anyone could’ve done to avoid it. One of those! SOF was 1800 so I was disappointed to get pole position to then potter about at the back for the remainder of the race. Decided to have another go in the open setup race and managed to get pole again, this time by about a second. Uneventful race, but won by almost 10 seconds. Looks comfortable enough, but didn’t feel it at the time. My brain kept telling me I’d put it in the barriers throughout. Here’s the race - beyond the first lap it really is uneventful.

Decent day for me. Winners with Langer Dan, Captain Guiness, Unexpected Party and a good e/w on Franciscan Rock.

Most of them do. Shared a session with Oscar Piastri a while back. For Max to win in the rain against similarly matched opponents on a controller is insane. To do that until 4am and then win the GP too.

He won a race in the rain. When he’s away on f1 duty he races on a laptop with a gamepad style controller.

Max looks tired. Was up until 4am on iRacing
