  1. Ain't it, cant just appreciate a player. Has to put someone else down. Les not forget Gray had 2-3 shots shots all on target and scored. Barnes had many opportunities that he wasted. Had a great game but needs to find that clinical edge.
  2. The same humour that has been recycle time and time again by anti-puel posters, hence my assumption. The goal against spurs shows exactly what we need. The sideways passing is needed to play a possession based game. If you can’t get through on one wing switch it and find space on the other. The problem is mendy and Ndidi don’t have that incisive pass that Tielemans has. Perfectly weighted for riccy to play the cross. You can almost gauruntee had that been ndidi or mendy the pass either wouldn’t have happened or would have gone straight out for a goal kick.
  3. Bit of a strange post to make then wasn’t it.
  4. Are you not bored of turning every single post into a puel-bashing post?
  5. Things were bad at Fulham before Ranieri became manager
  6. Like when he moved to RB against Newport ???
  7. Would like to see Barnes, Gray and Maddison as the three behind Vardy. I know everyone on here loves albrighton but I don’t personally his qualities suit the way we want to go. If we had a big forward in Solomon Rondon then albrighton is perfect but we don’t. Would prefer to see the younger players behind Vardy that can hopefully link up with Vardy making runs in and around the box and create some trouble for defenders rather than the standard albrighton cross to no one.
  8. Is Barnes not a winger though? How does that affect ihaenachos playing time? Its also pretty well know that Okazaki is no longer wanted/needed.
  9. You realise this was just his goals. Doesn’t show any link up play, assists or skills. Ihaenacho is good at linking up play, he has shown it a couple times for us. Not enough though you are right. However, I don’t think that’s all his fault, those supporting (or rather not supprting him) need to get the ball into his feet and make runs around him. Also, if you watch any videos of Jesus’ goals over the last 2 years I’m sure you’ll see that him and ihaenacho both score very similar types of goals. They were good at ghosting into the box and finding little spaces where they could collect the rebound off the post or a spilled ball from the keeper s that they have an “easy tap in”.
  10. If you watch this video his style at city was much like Jesus, he really did look a good buy.
  11. You did reply to me though?
  12. I’m not saying we didn’t create any. I’m saying we didn’t create enough. Especially not for nacho which is what this thread is about. I’m not hear to talk about Okazaki, Albrighton or Maddison.
  13. I guess it depends how you view ‘clear’ goal scoring opportunities. I’m talking where the striker is pretty much guaranteed to score. Not like the Ghezzal opportunity where he’s got defenders around him and the keeper on the near post peefectly positioned. I mean like mahrezs dinked cross to Jesus against burton where Jesus has an unchallenged header with the keeper scrambling.
  14. 24 attempts vs Newport is not something to brag about. Especially when a lot of those attempts were shots outside the box. We didn’t create enough ‘clear’ goal scoring oppurtunities. The ball was constantly jumped into the box from deep and left ihaenacho to fight against two ugly bastard league 2 CBs. Our wide players are not good enough at creating opportunities. Hence why when mahrez was in the team it was always mahrez who created chances for Vardy. I believe mahrez assisting Vardy created the most goals out of any duo in the top 5 leagues the season we won the title.
  15. Have to disagree with this. I think ihaenacho is very similar in style to Gabriel Jesus, who is doing very as a lone striker for city. They are both poachers with great finishing. The only difference being Man City’s midfield and wide players create at least 3 clear goal scoring opportunities for Jesus and our midfield and wide players create none for ihaenacho.
  16. Pretty sad really isn’t it
  17. You really getting arsey about the name on the back of a players shirt?
  18. So Maddison hasn’t proved to be a decent signing eventhough he’s scored/created the most goals for us this season? Also I’d say benkovic has proved himself to be a decent signing considering his age and that he is receiving nothing but compliments on his loan spell at Celtic. Soyuncu aswell, hasn’t had many chances to play for us but has been solid in every game bar 1 or 2 mistakes.
  19. Let me guess. Puel is the reason we signed Ghezzal but had nothing to do with signing Ricardo, Maddison, Soyuncu or Benkovic?
  20. Yes the likes of Neville, Carragher and Shearer know nothing about football do they, not in comparison to you anyway. How many times have you played in the premier league again? I genuinely can’t tell if you’re having me on here. Van dijk was bought for 75mill and I’d imagine could probably be sold for over 100mill now if Liverpool wanted to sell. Ricardo wouldn’t go for more than 40mill and I’d say 40 is pushing it.
  21. Didn’t know this was already confirmed? Thanks for sharing.
  22. Think if Morgan stayed on the pitch we might have beat them. Momentum had already started to shift towards us and then Morgan went and gave them a free win.
  23. Yet every single football pundit rates him as the current best in the prem. He has transformed Liverpool’s defence from a complete shambles to the best in the league. Have a word with yourself.
  24. You think Ricardo is worth more than van dijk?
  25. Don’t see what the problem is tbh. They’ve obviously trained for him to play in that position.
