  1. I must say, the defending is so much more committed than what we’ve seen for a while. It’s refreshing.
  2. I think the passing and poor touches has been down to the condition of the pitch, it’ll be like an ice rink. Every turn looks like it’ll result in a slip.
  3. He’s not doing very well but I think it’s unfair to say he looks disinterested. All opinions though
  4. Love how winks takes the ball in a tight space on the turn… just have visions of him slipping and costing us in these conditions
  5. Seems so. Casadei looks a bit too slow to make those runs past and beat the defender. Hopefully proved wrong!
  6. Touché sorry mate, Foxestalk after a night shift isn’t a good idea, clearly!
  7. Norwich are 4th, 2pts behind us
  8. I couldn’t agree more. I just didn’t agree that ‘98%’ of podcasts are like the Second Tier one. Which you’ve agreed with in your post. There are some really good ones like you say
  9. Nah, some pods are actually pretty good and have decent guests on each week rather than being self serving ego fests. Yes, many are shite too, granted. I mentioned this one because it’s relevant to this thread.
  10. Keep seeing clips of The Second Tier podcast on Twitter/X. I’ve seen it mentioned on here but that Ryan fella is painful. Speaks like someone who expected to achieve something in life/career wise and has turned to podcasts for validity. Attempts to come across educated, with sound knowledge of football but makes himself look like a prize tit.
  11. Thought it was red at first but it looked like he pulled out a bit in fairness to him.
  12. Put them to the sword now. Lay down a real marker.
  13. If he missed that great finish though. Can’t knock that.
  14. So far, Vesty looks like a proper leader. Complete turnaround from what I expected to see. He’s playing well, but has stepped up as a senior player (as he should). Fair play.
  15. Feels like I’m watching the Southampton FC stream rather than Sky Sports with this commentary. Is it just me?
  16. I’d imagine so.
  17. Smallbone looks like the Mexican alien.
  18. This is it though… I quoted my previous post. When it comes to a semi or a final, they aren’t as good as what the opposition have. That doesn’t mean there isn’t anyone better for us, but there’s no harm in giving someone a shot.
  19. He'd be a good addition to the Scotland squad, but don't rely on him to be a match winner when you need one. Can be a 5/10 as often as he can be a 9/10. Depends how the Scotland players would take to someone who is English, played for England and changed allegiances after not being called up. I know this happens often, but usually in the age groups rather than a capped international.
  20. The 'Harry Maguire always plays well for England'' rhetoric is getting tedious (not on here, granted). Anyone half decent would look good playing in defence for England against 95% of the teams we face.
  21. Yakubu... he only scores goals! Joking aside, that was painful to read.
  22. There’s a difference between taking a loan and still picking up your Prem wage and moving onto a lower salary (I know the salary deficit in a lot of contracts are honoured by the selling club until it’s due to expire). Deeney seems to be hinting more towards, out of contract players won’t drop down from where they’ve become accustomed to playing.
