Yes In league 1 and 2! Surely you can see a world where a career premier League player And former england international drops down in standard and performs very well? -

Newsflash we are in league 1! Kyle Wooton a player who spent his career in league 2 and non league was 2nd highest goalscorer last season. -

Bit of a silly hypothetical, what would you say if he plays 30 games and scores 13 valuable goals? Also on a one year deal the risk is fairly minimal. -

Partially agree with you. One or two signings like ings is not a problem as long as they are supplemented by younger hungry players that actually have a sell on value this summer can't be a continuation of the Ayew, Coady old shit pros on long deals As for reading the room as if the club gives a shit about that nor should they. A player that they and presumably the manager wanted was available on a one year deal they can't not complete because a load of foxestalkers will start moaning. -

I am not saying our fans are entitled but we are literally the only club in league 1 who's fans would be turning their noses up at signing Danny Ings. -

Yes that's my point. He's a good striker in league 1 and 2. So ergo a prem bench warmer and former england international should also excel at this level. -

In the prem and championship a 37 year old David McGoldrick scored 15 in league 1 last season. -

He's been ok in the championship must the leading wicket taker by some distance. Dreadful in the blast But I was on about him as a signing and I will stick by the fact that he's a good signing and we are lucky to have him for on a 3 year deal. -

Not having that, they were a well coached, hungry, aggressive side last season with loads of players looking right at it and The coaching staff deserve credit for that however lots of the key components of it have been squandered by them and now questions need to be asked. Budinger - dropped, underminded then injured. Patel - he's seen enough off to hamshire Holland - asking too much of him with the captaincy and moving up the order looks a shell of last season. Van Beek - not retained which when you think what happened with Handscombe and Maharaj was an utter disaster. Cox - Thrown under the bus publicly looks like he's off too. Scriven - not been given enough opportunitys. Hull - gone backwards The new signings have been unerwhelming Ben Green aside. I think we desperately need success in the one day cup without it we are going backwards in all 3 competitions and the squad needs major surgery at that point the coaching staff positions should under severe scrutiny. -

This chuckling idiot on radio Leicester couldn't ask a difficult question if his life depended on it. -

Must be frustrating for the club and CEO they put an awful lot of time and money into successfully getting people into the gate for blast games but people won't come back if we are being absolutely savaged. -

The cricket was an excellent antidote to the football last season. Also this season it's compounding the fuching misery and frustration. -

Was Ezkanazi a good t20 player before he came here? Looks absolutely atrocious. -

In the last few years we have won the one day cup and won Division 2 both major sucesses for the club so I would be loathe to blame coaching or recruitment. A county our size can't really expect to be successful in all formats all the time. However we have so far been disappoining in both the formats we have played in so so you would probably want to look at this season in isolation. 1. Losing Maharaj so late on was absolutely massive we got him in so early last season and to lose him leave ourself scrambling was massive. 2. Losing Hanscombe see above only add in his leadership. 3. Losing Rehan to IPL last minute less of a biggie as you kind of expect it the level he is at but just compounded 1 and 2. 4. Short of fast bowlers Van Beek hasn't been replaced and Ian Holland has struggled to do it on his own and hull has stagnated/regressed. 5. Ben Green wrong choice for t20 captain but I think they used it as a cherry to get him to sign. 6. Repeatedly choosing to bat last when we look a much better side defending a total. -

Disagree if Kelly hadn't slipped or we had scored 15 more runs in the last 10 overs we would have won that -

I hope not! be far better for his development to play all 8 one day cup than a few 5 ball overs in that garbage. -
Not sure if he has been mentioned but Have it on good authority he has signed on a free.

Nice! Admittedly a very small sample size but looked tidy with bat and ball v Yorkshire in the championship. -

Criminal that he hadn't been selected but Chuffed to get rehan in for the next two blast games hopefully England's loss is our gain and we can get half a foot in the semis before he goes off to play in t20 series v india. -

Nick Kelly has been a fantastic overseas signing. Top scorer in the blast and now turning up in the championship if Hanscombe is still being non comital next season we should move heaven and earth to get him back! -
