  1. Not sure anyone who was at Trent Bridge the last time we won it in 2023 would need to even ask that question!
  2. He played for them for 17 years! Be like Vardy going into management signing a player from Leicester who goes onto be wildly successful and attributing it to someone else.
  3. Obviously attributable? Who else do you attribute Johnny evans, James Maddison and caglar soyuncu to? Jon Rudkin? Oh and he also got Tilemans in on loan from his old club Monaco is that one obviously attributable enough for you?
  4. Funny to listen to these two commentators wax lyrical for about 5 minutes about what a brilliant signing Hamza Shaikh is for us when some of the "experts" on here were so underwhelmed/annoyed by the signing.
  5. Loved his celebration for his 100 even though the game was probably gone, proper passion.
  6. That or it's a bit of a sweetner to get De Swardt to sign next season.
  7. Need to get De Swardt signed for all 3 formats next season.
  8. Bowling 4/10 Fielding 2/10 Opening batters 1/10 Middle and lower order batting 10/10 Frustrating as if we had improved marginally in some of those other areas we would have won.
  9. Unlike most the shite that's come and gone in the last 5 years Daka gave the impression that he cared. for that reason I wish him well however I would be shocked if he suddenly becomes prolific at any level and a couple of goals in a friendly isn't going to change my mind
  10. Agreed not logged in all day and it's quite funny reading them knowing the result. Slagging Shaikh is a bit disappointing he's 20 years old FFS.
  11. I quite often see people moaning about vape shops or Turkish barbers. I mean fair enough they look tacky as fuch but up to 19 percent of some Midlands Towns, shop fronts are vacant. That surely would be a more pressing concern. I would rather have a vape shop than an empty shop! At least it's contributing to the economy in some small way. Let's worry about stopping town centers becoming ghost towns before we get precious about what the shops are.
  12. Turki is scum he had someone thrown in prison for 19 years for a mildly critical tweet. Not sure I could still follow the club if this happens.
  13. Not in the squad and not mentioned as injured. This season performances have been poor and pissing off and Alienating good pros who are leaving or sidelined and replacing them with reserve level players Very difficult not to think we are going backwards at a frankly alarming rate. I think a big performance in the one day cup is needed else even people like me who are big fans of Alfonso, Taylor and Henderson and appreciate county cricket is nowhere near as reactionary as football will be baying for blood.
  14. Trav was going to be such an asset in the 1 day stuff especially with the baking hot summer we've had drying out pitches hes also a very decent batsman. If this turns out to be more than gossip I will be mightly annoyed.
  15. Does Barnes get stick? Maddison was injured for a lot of our relegation season coming back just in time to miss one of those stupid panenka penalties in a crucial match v Everton so not having that he was much better than tilemans.
  16. The 3rd place game is total bollocks. But fair play to both sets of players if you have to stick around for 4 days rather than going on holiday you may as well put an exhibition of attacking football.
  17. Don't know anything about him, what's the verdict?
  18. People seem to be really struggling to wrap their head around league 1 being a worse standard than the championship.
  19. He was on about in fergies and Roy Keane's day which would have been the Martin O'Neil side that beat man United multiple times including twice at old Trafford so yes we do deserve more respect.
  20. In my experience sentences that start with "with respect to Leicester" are never particularly respectful.
