  1. Who are these large groups of fans that support Top and Rudkin? There is a big difference between thinking that protesting and booing own players is self defeating and adding to the toxicity And thinking the club is being ran well!
  2. Why don't YOU do your research or look at the facts before posting! Moshiri and Kenwright were joint owners working together for 7 years. Kenwright was chairman when he died in 2023. But whatever... I am not here to argue the intricacies of Everton's ownership model my point was that it's total bull that somehow west Ham or everton fans are less passive and would have stormed the king power andpublicly flogged the ownership just doesn't add up.
  3. Even if you accept that everton and west Ham fans have higher standards than us and are more hostile to there owners than us which having been to goodison, Upton park and the Olympic Stadium a lot over the years I would say is complete bollocks but for arguments sake let's say it's true. the fact that both these fanbases have been stuck with owners they hate for a combinded 32 years with everton only seeing there's off in death surely proves my point over yours that all this so called fan action even when done to a standard you like is completely futile?
  4. What when Kenwright died? How the hell can you attribute someone dying of liver cancer to a more hostile fanbase?
  5. That's very subjective and if it's true and if it's a factor how come we have had way more success than those clubs in the last 10 years?
  6. Very dramatic statement Care to elaborate? Also it's very hypothetical that everton and west Ham would have forced him out, how do you know? Im not so sure especially if said owner had also won the premier League and fa Cup. Don't think it's quite as black and white as you think. In fact Gold was at West Ham for 13 years and Kenwright at everton for 19 years and both went through periods of serious unpopularity with the fan base so the evidence suggests you are wrong.
  7. Great post, my dad is in his 70s now and I am fuched if I am gonna waste my last few years of a brilliant lifetime of following City together by adding to the toxicity. Live and let live You lads crack on with booing your own players before they come on and plane fly overs and tennis balls. Good luck effecting anything other than your own mental health and making the king power an even easier place to come for away teams.
  8. People ruling out dyche are not factoring in that his stock has fallen too has done a pretty rubbish at his last two clubs now. yeah Managing city isn't as appealing as it was but also his reputation isn't as high as it was could be our downwards arcs intersect at the right time.
  9. Would Claudio fancy one last dance? O'neil style at Celtic.
  10. Your right you can not police what every single fan sings nor would you want to. However a fan group that needs buy in from the fans around it when they do a Tifo or want to move a load of fans out of their seats to expand their section again should think carefully about pursuing actions which are clearly divisive amongst the fans. If you spoke to 100 Wednesday fans about Chansiri or 100 Blackpool fans about the oystons they they would all say the same thing ask 100 city fans about king power and you would get 100 different view points on them. Our situation is complicated. Even The most rabbid anti ownership fan would still have to admit they have been by far the greatest owners in the clubs history. And the least negative fans towards the ownership would have to concede that it has turned into a complete shit show in recent times. I am not here to argue individual points or stick up for the owners I am just pointing out that this is a polarizing issue amongst fans and angry old boys having a go at Union FS is a product of that.
  11. So there was still chants at ipswich earlier in the month? We will have to agree to disagree on that one!
  12. So they haven't been singing it? Your meant to be leading the section! Your right at the front and have a drum ffs!
  13. Mate I sit in sk1 trust me it stops when we start winning. You didn't hear a peep in the enzo season either.
  14. I have always been very pro union FS you can check my post history if you can be arsed but some things have been really irritating me and some of the blokes I go with lately. - one minute you are singing "through the good time and the bad, we'll always back the lads" The next minute they are singing "we're fuching shit" And hurling abuse at the players when they come over at the end. They do this without a hint of irony. - the rudkin out/sack the board stuff is totally and utterly toothless and is going to achieve absolutely naff all. All it does is add to the toxic feeling in the ground and divide the fan base see last night for an example, which by the way wasn't just one bloke lots of older blokes around me shouting at them getting fed up with it. All this is making the ground a dream to visit for away teams. - the rudkin out/sack the board stuff seems to be very results dependant you don't here a peep when we are on a How strong can the feeling be if it's pacified by a scrappy 2-1 win at home to stoke? Comes across as whiny and reactionary rather than a genuine movement to inact change.
  15. Union FS losing it and thinking they are Curva A! A mass walkout isn't massively effective when there are only 20 of you and the atmosphere is better when you've gone.
  16. Fair enough absolutely not trying to defend that. Its poor from both My input was more to say we might not necessarily be going the way of Sheffield Wednesday which has been suggested!
  17. Plenty of lower wage workers at my place too. Please don't misunderstand me I'm not saying it's good or acceptable just saying it might not be a sign of impending financial doom.
  18. Not to stick up for the club but I work for a ftse 100 company making record profit who have done something very similar this year. We normally get paid 24th in December but found out yesterday it's going to be the end of the month as normal. City doing it Could be the sign of something deeper especially with other things like lack of signings etc but it also could be an innocuous accounting thing which is what I hope it is at my work.
  19. Welcome to the forum, mate. You will get the hang of it.
  20. He's also got or recently had quite serious health issues.
  21. Give him time, if the club was as trigger happy as foxestalk wanted them to be the Pearson would have been sacked on about 9 different occasions across his 2 stays and MON would have been sacked after Sheffield United away. Plenty of time and points available for him to get it right.
  22. I wouldn't let it keep you up at night.
  23. Who cares it's the only song in our songbook that's unique to Leicester City and has history going back over 50 years. The best thing about the conference League run was the fans rediscovering this song.
