Thought the State of Play was decent. Wolverine looks like a bloodbath, which is exactly how it should be. I loved the combat in the Spiderman and Batman games so im sure Wolverine wont disappoint. God of War i really like the look of. Will be interesting to see how that story develops, especially with it not being a prequel. I wonder if there will be crossover moments where somehow Faye is able to see what Kratos and Atreus are doing. Onimusha really takes me back. I loved the first and second games as a kid. So that gave me a real nostalgia trip.will defo pick that up at some point Shame we didnt get much of a look at Phantom Blade

Pretty much nail on head. Though i quite like the mechanics of FF8 and how the enemies scale with you. Also it has Doomtrain. Beast of a summon

As a Final Fantasy lover i will chime in. It really comes down to what you are prepared to play. The older 2D FF games are decent. FF6 Story is very good. But i find that when i talk to someone much younger than me (im assuming you are younger then me) they just cant seem to give a game like it the time it needs and deserves. Its just an instant 'graphics are terrible' and bin it. FF7 was the first leap to 3D. I must say i hugely disagree with Libertine. You HAVE to play the original first. But that's because i have the nostalgia of playing the original when it first released. So i can play the latest FF7 games with a whole different lens and appreciation for what they have done with it. Perhaps its different if you have never played the original. Even so to play the FF series and not play FF7 original would just be a real shame. FF8 and FF9 are both brilliant But overall i would have to agree with Legend in Blue and go with FFX as a starting point. Easy game mechanics, brilliant story with no overly complicated levelling system with the Spheregrid. Also Blitzball is great. After FFX i would go into 7, 8, 9 and 12. Then if you have a real love for FF games then go for the older ones. FF13 i havent played in a very long time but all i can remember about it was how linear it was, something i didnt really enjoy. FF15 and FF16 are both decent but i still find the older games better. 7, 8, 9 and 10 are the pinnacle for me

My game of the year last year. Enjoyed that more than Expedition 33. Don't really know why, think i just loved the concept. Couldn't put it down If you liked Until Dawn and that style of game there are plenty of others you can try Detroit, The Dark Anthology games, The Quarry, or even go back further and play Heavy Rain and Fahranheit. All great games Returnal i can also recommend. Another one of those games where you die and you say to yourself 'just one more run'. Quite addictive

Honestly, at the moment a pointless purchase. Should have just stuck to my Switch. Currently i am away from home and took the Switch 2 with me. But i am finding myself playing Skyrim, Balatro and the N64 games. All of them i could have just easily played on the Switch I brought Metroid Prime 4 - Game was ok but not the game i was truly hoping for. Pokemon Z-A was just meh. They have made the game far too simple. Mario Kart was good for all of a few hours. Then quickly got boring I am just finding the Switch 2 exclusive games to all be underwhelming. The only reason why i still have my Switch 2 is because i just know the moment i get rid of it they will announce the new Zelda. Which is up there as my all time favorite game series Maybe i am just getting older and games are becoming more stale. I do like the look of Starfox though

For work i went on a site visit for a sit down Customer meeting for 3 days. Arrived on site yesterday, Meeting started at 9am. My manager is chatting away whilst i am working on my laptop. All of a sudden, at 9:15am, i get a sharp pain in my chest. Literally out of nowhere. Decided to go out the room for some fresh air without telling anyone. Then i broke out in a sweat, both arms and hands going really tingly whilst still having this chest pain. A guy walked past me, said good morning, then doubled back when he realised i looked like shit. Sat me down and called 999. I was ok after about 25 mins but the paramedic still took me to hospital to get checked over. Had blood test, ECG and X Ray but all came back fine. Doctor said it was either a Nerve issue or a Muscular skeletal issue but either way nothing too serious. Back in the meeting today, everyone taking the piss saying i just wanted a day off Very strange day
