Big demo today in Ottawa Canada today as the 50 thousand strong trucker convey rolls in to the city. The week long convey has crossed the country with 10's of thousands cheering them on from the roadside. The message is simple, no to any mandates. As per usual the media have played it down but the scenes tell another story.

Long story short I'm not a resident, but was allowed to stay beyond the 3 months.

Just returned to the UK for a little bit, but I've been in Spain for 7 months. Different rules there for different regions but where we are you need a pass even outside. Some places don't ask tbf but most do, and yeah one day I'd forgot my phone so they wouldn't serve me. They were very apologetic but the fines are huge by all accounts.

The examples you give are not anywhere near like what is happening now, not even close. I was recently not allowed to buy a cup of coffee outside as I'd not bought my digital ID with me, comparing that to not being allowed to use your phone behind the wheel of a car are two massively different things.
