So is the king of conspiracy theory Alex Jones a Shill? Some say that's he's CIA so I'm guessing that in itself is a conspiracy theory.

Not familiar with the area but I've just had a quick look, and Buñol in particular looks lovely. Off grid and on the side of a hill sounds ace, the dream of many people so I hope it all works out.

Wow sounds great, whereabouts?

I've spent Christmas 5 out of the last 6 years in Valencia. The weather is very good to be honest, afternoon's are mostly low to mid 20's. The mornings and late evenings a bit fresh but certainly not cold, everybody still has breakfast outside and the terraces are packed way in to the night. Loads of Christmas lights up so it feels really festive. Loads going on in the city or if you wanna chill pick up a bike and head to the beaches to the south, a gentle 30/40 minute ride away and you'll have your own beach for a picnic. The sea is cold but definitely worth a dip on a sunny day.

Accept certain inalienable truths Prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too, will get old And when you do, you'll fantasize that when you were young Prices were reasonable, politicians were noble And children respected their elders Respect your elders

Good points as per. Let's hope they do reach an agreement then. It seems nowadays that the.powers that be just flex their muscle's without hesitation. This concerns me as much as climate change concerns you. Just to add climate change concerns me as well, I don't wanna go down that path.

Why the rush though? Seems to me as if it could be phased out over a longer period. It's a two finger stick up to real working people again.

Not a fan of the little man are you. Power to the elites yeah.

Well done to the Dutch farmers, I hope they keep it up. https://nypost.com/2022/07/12/good-for-dutch-farmers-for-fighting-back-against-a-govt-bowing-to-enviro-radicals/

Queens Rd Tap is just around the corner from Martin Bros, they normally have a good selection of beers. Avoid the Clarendon, it's pants

Yes I've done Hemmingways's house but shamefully I've not read any of his work so it didn't do a great deal for me. My other half took more of an interest. There's not a great deal to do in Key West to be honest, but I find it great place to do absolutely nothing. Sometimes I just need to completely disengage from things and there's something about the place that does it for me. Half of Duval Street is indeed tacky, A bit like Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The other half I find quite charming, lovely little bars and shops and I love the Colonial architecture of the place. We always get accommodation away from Duval, South Street a few blocks away is more local and has a really laid back feel. The sunset's are out of this world. I wouldn't say that I'm a mad Florida fan either, I've never done Orlando, Miami etc. Although I've done a few Gulf coast towns and also a few along the Atlantic coast and they're all very pleasant. You should definitely do your trip though as I'm sure you'll have a great time. As for the sunscreen though, I thought that a bit a exposed sun was good, or am making that up? I thought that avoiding getting burnt was the key and I never get to that point.

Wow that is a long stint. Tbh not sure I'd fancy that either. I'd probably have to invest in an ice machine and one of them immersion barrels

How long does that type of heat last?
-
I once spent 6 weeks in Key West in July/August and you could actually taste the air it was that sticky. It does add extra challenges I'll give you that, I still enjoyed it mind. The missus on the other hand, not so much.

I'd say 40 is my cut off for heat, anything less is fine. I spend a lot of time in a hot climate and I embrace the sunshine. Most days I'm outside and I'll do an hour in the mid day heat before slapping on the suncream. I feel so healthy both in mind and body so bring it on.

It'll never happen but we all need to rise up. The political system is corrupt to the core and we need to say enough is enough. We'll soon own nothing and be happy apparently. Well the folks who came up with that absurd phrase will definitely be happy and they'll own everything if it carries on like this.

Off to see Brass Against tonight.

Both very interesting posts guys. For me the way it's being rushed through and seemingly happening without any real conversation about it is concerning. But I'll not worry about that today, the sun is shining and as yet I don't think there's any plans to digitise that 🙂

It was bonkers and gives a glimpse in to the future of what could happen when certain people have too much power. It's already being discussed how we should spend our own money as well. Oh joy 😂 https://mindmatters.ai/2022/02/government-mulls-money-that-can-only-be-spent-on-approved-items/

Not a good idea at all, give them an inch and they'll take a mile. For instance you may go on a protest or even donate to a cause you believe in and the government might freeze your assets. I doubt that will happen just yet though, oh hold on ... 🇨🇦🇨🇦😂

I just thought that seeing as it's the worse pandemic since the Spanish Flu I might of known someone that had been affected by it. Glad your boss is ok btw.
-
No I'm not naive at all, I live and breathe like everyone else. Chill man
-
Ok fair play. Not looking for an argument btw. It's just I know so many people, work and family and plenty of old folk and nobody had even been remotely ill. Maybe just lucky

Has it? I don't know a single person that's been anywhere near a hospital after getting covid. Not one In 2 year's
