Imagine drawing up the battle lines then remembering that your commander-in-chief is Joe Biden.

If we were going out if business then I'd agree but we're not. The players are still running on the pitch every week. If you think that us winning a few more games and playing a better style of football is distracting you from the bigger picture then I honestly give in.
-
The picture you're painting is frightening. How anyone could give a toss about a football club sacking or not sacking a manager is beyond me. Over covid like a lot of people I tried to help out independent business the best I could, but like you say this time it won't be possible.

This is an absolute scandal and should not be allowed to happen.

Slowly but surely people are having the life sucked out of them. We should be fighting this but as usual we seem to be fighting amongst ourselves, funny that.

Not that anybody cares about the last 2 and a half years but the mainstream media are now starting to go against the narrative. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/little-by-little-the-truth-of-lockdown-is-being-admitted-it-was-a-disaster-5b5lrlgwk

You don't even need a booster to travel to the US. So that means I can travel without a booster even though my second jab was May 2021. It's pathetic and nothing to do with health.

Rab Wardell. Died in his sleep two days after winning an elite Scottish cycling event. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-62650682

Yeah I've not forgotten those 🤣🤣 But seriously if you don't spot the little man I'll be gutted. Back to the football though. I think the new Mestalla has been pushed back again so you may get to enjoy the old girl for a bit longer.

Now you come mention it No just circumstances have changed. I'll hopefully still visit as it's a wonderful city. Keep your eyes peeled though as I've left my mark, especially in the the old town. All I'll say is 1980's little winger
-
Haha no. I was right in the city

I've been numerous times to both Levante and Valencia and enjoyed both. Didn't feel any connection though so I was looking at going to watch Torrent CF just outside the city. They play at the Estadio San Gregorio which holds 4000. I don't think they ever fill it but they have a half decent main stand that gets a few in there. Decent little town as well which is connected by the metro from Valencia. Just sold my gaff there though so I'll probably not get to go now which is a shame.

Just had my lunch outside with an absolutely lovely cup of tea. Bliss

Ok no problem. This is the film thread so best leave it anyway haha.

Ah ok I get you know. You're looking at it politically. Tbh I don't know hardly anything about Mr Walsh and my missus had never even heard of him and she found it interesting as well.
-
Comedy? It's not funny at all

The Matt Walsh documentary What is a woman. Not sure what to say about it really, interesting to say the least

I think you're right on this. A very sad reflection of modern life unfortunately.

Went out paddle boarding today in the sea. Got pretty far out and was soon surrounded by hundreds of football sized jellyfish. Initially I was a bit apprehensive but soon enough I was just transfixed. Nature is stunning sometimes.

Had a Grape Ale last night. Not bad, different.
