  1. The Wind That Shakes The Barley on youtube!
  2. Silent / Headphones Discos. Mental fun.
  3. Off y'go 'en.
  4. What was Hands of the Gods like, Daggers? I remember reading a review of it a while ago and wanted to watch it but never did.
  5. Lazy cunt cab-drivers that can't be fooked to get out and walk two steps to a front door so they sit outside beeping their horn in a built up area for however long they want at any hour. This x 2 when the cab driver is actually the son of the person they're sat outside beeping for.
  6. If I was coming to games every week I'd happily lend it to you. Next time I've got the dollar to get down I'll try and remember. Edit: Alternatively if you don't want watching it on the computer, it's all on YouTube. Just search Dylan Moran Monster. While you're at it, search for Pedantic and Whimsical - Ed Byrne's DVD is on there I think. Oh! And Planet Courdorouy (sp?) by Marcus Brigstocke!
  7. I prefer Situation, but I don't think Look is shit. Neither of them match the class.... of Big Train.
  8. I think Jen's hilarious in context, Fran grates with me really. He's wonderful. Really, give Monster a watch if you haven't. I'd love to see him live but I haven't yet. Ed Byrne and Marcus Brigstocke are my favourite two I've seen in person.
  9. We prefer Finnertine.
  10. LD3.
  11. Hm, can't really compare them really! Moss plays the Manny roll and to be honest I think he's funnier than Manny. I love Bill Bailey as a stand up comedian but Richard Ayoade is almost unrivaled as a comic actor in my opinion. Really plays ignorance brilliantly. Bernard's fantastic but again, he's really just acting out his stand up persona in the form of an on-screen character. If you haven't seen it already I'd really recommend giving his stage show Monster a watch. He's absolutely brilliant. Very cynical and drole and... drunk. Neither have I. I'm just not a retard.
  12. Moss, you plank. Maurice Moss.
  13. I think I'm one of the few people that sincerely prefers That Mitchell And Web Situation/Look to the Peep Show, really. IT Crowd is class, though, I have to admit I probably do think it edges Black Books if only slightly. You can't beat the Boosh for screwball UK humour though (or Darkplace, for that matter.)
  14. I think you need a certain degree of age and maturity to 'get' it.
  15. This really isn't helping his "same person" claim. I was about to post exactly the fucking same.
  16. I'm no expert but I can think of one massive difference straight away. I would happily be strapped safely up inside a rigorously safety tested car and it's safety cage. If a bike was hurtling into a crash I would damn sure not want to be strapped onto it!
  17. Bastard Emilio has made me really want to watch Black Hawk Down now.
  18. Why are Lisa and Carl arguin' over FT?
  19. Whatever happened to that nice boy Libertine we all knew and loved?
  20. [/samilktray]
  21. Few months late but I just want to point out that this was fucking inspired.
  22. Taisdealach with Donnie Munro. Runrig.
  23. For some fooking reason I'm going to see a double-header of "bands that used to rock the fook out but now produce music for 12 year olds because emo kids have made hardcore 'trendy'" Rise Against supported by Anti-Flag. Odds on it being total guff? High. Odds on plenty of barely legal future talent? High. Odds on me getting fooked and elbowing several in the tits in the midst of a "pit"? Off the scale.
