“My first look was in the youth sides, but we don’t have someone there at the moment.” Mainly that bit where he’s talking about him looking to the youth team for a solution but there not being one, considering this thread is about those teams I thought it might, just slightly, make sense to put it here. -

Their player went full Steven Gerrard, just on as a sub and flew into a challenge against Devlin, didn’t look nice

I’d assumed injuries but I’d have thought they would have been mentioned before now, could be homesickness, being totally away from family for the last year as a teenager can’t be easy so maybe it’s just an extended break.
-
Yeah it’s the one worry. I wouldn’t be totally shocked to see Blanchard depart either, her absence this side of New Years has gone unmentioned and she’s not exactly been getting much game time even before that this season.
-
Goals from earlier
-
Haven’t heard anything yet, although depending on if Barker/Blanchard are out for any length of time a midfielder wouldn’t be a shock

Liverpool won the top tier as recently as 2014 but the parent club basically gave up giving a toss about the women’s team, leading to relegation last year. They’ve started to take notice again but it’ll take more than that to get back to the WSL, especially with more clubs in the Championship and below starting to invest
-
Yep you’ve got that right. Women’s Super League/Top Flight: Arsenal, Aston Villa, Birmingham City, Brighton, Bristol City, Chelsea, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United, Reading, Tottenham, West Ham Women’s Championship/2nd tier: Blackburn Rovers, Charlton Athletic, Coventry United, Crystal Palace, Durham, Leicester, Lewes, Liverpool, London Bees, London City, Sheffield United One up, one down between WSL & Championship. One down from Championship to National League system, National League North/South winners both promoted to get to an even 12 in the 2nd tier.

Next few games: Palace (H) - 24th Jan Bristol City (A) - Conti Cup - 3rd/4th Feb (FA Player) Durham (A) - 14th Feb (Durham Facebook and/or FA Player)

Irish international Ruesha Littlejohn has left the club, joining WSL side Birmingham City...good move from being on our bench most of the season
