  1. You out on the tap in Fanclub again?
  2. Your last point is where I've been at for a while with all this. The dream is a peaceful two-state solution which I, sadly, can never see happening. Severe conflict is inevitable and, given one side is significantly better equipped, how it's not escalated more severely sooner is some diplomatic achievement despite the appalling behaviour of both sides. I guess the above was said about N. Ireland for generations so there's a small hope.
  3. I think EA Play, which has FIFA, is only included with Ultimate. If FIFA is all he plays, might be best to bite the bullet and just get the standalone game. I don't play on my xbox that often, but when I do I get a 1 month code and just pay as I go. Makes more sense to me than just having a sub going all year. https://www.cdkeys.com/1-month-xbox-game-pass-ultimate-xbox-one-pc
  4. His interview was highlight of the season.
  5. Bloodbath incoming. World is so f**ked at the moment.
  6. It is unseasonably cold in the cockpit of a Porsche... He says in a Kia
  7. Doubt the SNP are finished, it's just that they've essentially conceded the independence vote during the next parliament which was what got them so many seats. Bit similar to BoJo's success in drawing Brexit voters to him across the poltical divide. Without the ref vote, and a mediocre domestic record, what are they for? Also, whatever you think of her, Sturgeon was a big draw for voters who carried them somewhat. Not expecting a wipeout, but can see it being a massive swing away from them, for at least one parliament. Scot's arn't exactly renowned fans of Tory party and can see them really coming together tactically to oust them.
  8. Have you searched Warzone 2.0 on the store? It should show up as the free version and then make you install Modern Warfare 2 I think.
  9. CoD are a f**king nightmare for this. They bury Warzone within whatever the latest CoD release is hence why they're making you download the MW pack.
  10. Presume the north is anything above Rickmansworth too?
  11. Guess a more accurate equivalence was when they forgot to turn on Hawkeye in the Villa Shef Utd game a few years ago.
  12. From a selfish perspective, I couldn't give a flip about the trains as I've always lived rurally and my only train rides have been on GCR. That said, this decision is utterly baffling to me. The main pivot of the US recovery from COVID was the inflation reduction act where they spent an arm and a leg investing in infrastructure that recoups costs down the line and also supports national businesses. If we actually paid up UK businesses (actual UK based firms not multi-nationals with offices here) to do this work, it's just money in the system that's a drop in the ocean compared to what the banks got through QE and would material improve the economy and people's lives. They're not wrong in the sense that most of "The North (wonderfully patronising phrase)" would benefit more from other rail infrastructure programmes which is something the, private..., rail operators should have been doing in addition to HS2. Funny how London didn't get a choice between HS2 and Crossrail for instance. Hearing this announcement made in front of a sign saying "Long-Term Decision for a Brighter Future" is one of the more laughable things I've seen of late.
  13. Looking very composed, such a contrast to the horrors of last season.
  14. It isn't and that's my irritation with the whole affair. As you say, is the VAR mucking up any different to the ref mucking up? Not great being aided by tech, but they're the same as far as I'm concerned. At least they've dropped that bizarre, "they were in UAE recently, therefore it was blatant corruption" angle.
  15. "Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says a replay of the Premier League match against Tottenham "would be the right thing" after Luis Diaz's goal was wrongly disallowed by the video assistant referee." F**k off
  16. Poor bloke's sunk then...
  17. Did I imagine it, or have I seen teams be dragged back onto the pitch after full-time to take a penalty following a VAR review? The whole "they've re-started" thing is complete bollocks.
  18. Rish! has gotten taller.
  19. I'm shocked...
  20. Laughable it's the bloke operating the video equipment is the most competant one of the lot.
