This was October for me. 314.1kWh added for a cost of £31.02. So 9.8p per kWh (my Tariff price is 9.4p so close enough as sometimes charge in day if desperate) . Quick check of the car shows I'm averaging between 3.2 miles per kWh to 4. So on those numbers it's between 3.06p-2.45p per mile. Hopefully you know how many miles you'd expect to drive and can compare that to what you'd use.

I had a tree fall on my car at work about a decade ago. Insurers offered a miserly sum that wouldn't even get close to a like for like replacement. Fortunatly a few words with my General Manager at the time and the company made a contribution to make it more reasonable seeing as it was their rotting tree that collapsed on it. Sadly write-off valuations never reflect the market rate and it's absolutely criminal.

Can't really speak for the mods, but don't think it's because the Israel/Palestine issue is more/less taboo than Ukraine, it's more the debate tends to get a bit more spicy and they don't want the hastle of moderating a very hot and emotive subject.

Not an annoyance but just something I witnessed this evening. On the way back from Shawell, driving to the Leicestershire Alps (Markfield ish), and saw two horrific accidents. Had to turn around at one of the incidents and our detour saw another. Both looked horrendous and hope all involved are fine. Do wonder if it was merely an unhappy coincidence, people driving poorly in the shite conditions or Herbert's driving home from the pub.
