  1. Decent half of football there. Get behind the team guys.
  2. Nelson having a shocker. Needs his wages holding until end of the month.
  3. Wham! Bit of respect.
  4. They applaud the team off when we get relegated...
  5. Holed up writing the nomination profiles and work for next year for the Foxes Trust.
  6. We're a "Family Club" remember folks.
  7. Probably wise to not fall out with the man plumbing in your toilet over such things.
  8. The most boring people on earth are those who show faux outrage at the above. Same puddings who think they're the first person on earth to claim Die Hard is a Christmas film. #TeamPineapple
  9. So will the FIFA Peace Prize winner declare war on Venezuela on the day of the Epstein paper release on Friday? It's a bold move Cotton.
  10. Still stand by his destiny is at Spurs. Perfect together. Presume he'll get a trillion pounds per window and still moan it's not enough.
  11. Unfortunately that's what that thread has become.
  12. I'm sure the trailer she'd take you back to is lovely.
  13. Not sure his sentence for attempted mass murder, including children, is particularly harsh myself. Drink driving are scum, but they're not specifically trying to hurt people so not sure on the equivalence. Reading about him he appeared to be a violent psychopath who used to just randomly beat people up for fun even before he even joined the forces.
  14. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2025/dec/17/christmas-dinner-chocolate-more-expensive-reports-which No chocolate orange for Mrs G?
  15. Carabao Peace Prize winner 25/26.
  16. According to the creature @Tommy G has the hots for, it's going to be a list of Trump's achievements this year...
  17. Steamed hams personally.
  18. New World bird (insert joke here). It was a flashy thing years and years ago, but then became traditional for the masses post-war as they're relatively cheap and feed plenty. Having said that, we've always been goose. Guess old habits die hard and family traditions more than people's personal tastes take over on these occasions.
  19. Nope, don't touch it throughout the year and Xmas is no exception. Goose and a ham every year. Screw Trump and the Americanisation of Christmas with Turkey. Boo.
  20. And it's live!
  21. @Mark Come on Scrooge!
  22. On the subject of cheeses, Sparkenhoe farm have a cracking selection. Nice cheese toastie at their cafe too! https://www.leicestershirecheese.co.uk/
  23. Gates Garden Centre in Cold Overton has a good deli that I raid before Christmas for pork pies, cheese etc. Hard to say if it's better, but they're very nice. It's a nice place to visit before Christmas as the decorations section is really nicely stocked.
  24. Bit late to respond, but think the quote was relating more to being able to function in a society in conflict. This stuff can happen very quickly and if Russian "research vessels" accidently sever internet and power cables and we lose both for a week or so, how do we think we'd all function? Not well I'd wager. Dust off your old copies of Escort Weekly and sharpen the can opener.
  25. I didn't mind Control, was one of his less wanky projects.
