Didn't know that but hardly surprised. Friend is a member who said they were in trouble last year but had meant to turn a corner. Even in the summer the 7th green was a squelching bog. Guess they were hit hard with last year's downpours as it really suffers when wet. It was the first "proper" course I played at when growing up, so even though it's fairly middle of the road, I really wish them well. If it wasn't for me moving out of Markfield and now being within a stones throw of Lingdale, where I now play, I'd probably be there most weekends still. The driving range and course has been generally busy whenever I've been so fingers crossed they get through.

No idea what's going on there tbh. Played as a visitor from time to time as I'm not far away but it's gone really downhill. Spending money on a gym, mini golf course, loads of local advertising, but the bunkers were full of weeds and the tee boxes were completely bare.
