I'd say Villeneuve has overtaken Nolan for me in terms of directed films I get the most excited for. Both outstanding.

45 minutes is about the duration of the opening cutscene... For reasons known only to my disturbed mind and god I've actually completed Death Stranding twice. First on release and secondly when they released the directors cut. If there was one thing the game didn't need, it was making longer. Having said that, I have a strange affection for the game. I actually really liked the slowness of it all. Seemed to me to be something of a throwback to where fast travel just wasn't a thing. It's worth pointing out that once you get transportation, there's a lot less plodding so worth persevering. The story is also heavily back ended which is where most of the interesting things kick in. Give it another go, but don't blame me when 20 hours in you start to look at yourself in the mirror and wonder wtf you're doing with your life.

Going to lower the tone, but Train Wreck:Poop Cruise was hilarious (not for those involved...)

Unfortunately some on here don't realise we've got the best owners in the world and criticise those of us who do the right thing in clapping relegated players off the pitch or mock when we queue up to hand wash Rudkin/Whelan's feet post-match. Happy Clapper is just a slur at us real fans who recognise we're no longer in League 1 anymore and are absolutely buzzing by that fact.

We got a Bosch AC unit which lives outside and connects to four wall mounted units inside (each of our bedrooms and living room). When it's on quiet mode you barely hear it. Problem is you get accustomed to the thing and have it on way more than you'd imagine making. Not cheap (6k at the time), but my god the smugness in weeks like this is worth the price of admission.

We all slip up from time to time, don't beat yourself over it or make it the norm. Glad you got out though even if it was a long wander. So many things you could do when suffering low mood so that's a positive that you went walking. Keep at it buddy.

Slight difference of opinion re: the slow mo at the end. Pressure retaining parts more often than fail in the axial orientation due to the loads with hoop stresses dominated by pressure. The old joke for undergrads learning about pressure retaining parts is explaining why sausages on a BBQ split length wise down the middle, same thing. If it was radial/axial failure due to pressure stresses that is a worry as that's basic stuff you design out and put massive margins against. Given I have zero doubt they have designed to code, might be that there was some defect in that joint that failed and propagated down. Interesting to see what they come out with. Surely SpaceX haven't had the DOGE treatment?
