What’s the point of playing the game if you don’t want to go up and play at the best level?

To be fair to the ref he did give it 2/3 seconds and waited to see. Been a great watch this game.

The annoying thing for me is in recent games they’ve overturned goals because of the player preventing an opposition player from defending etc…. Pope clearly wins the ball but at the same time stops Gyokeres from getting to the ball. Newcastle very lucky Pope got a touch on the ball.

How anyone’s putting the blame solely on Faes is wild. People too quick to blame him because of their feelings towards him. It was crap from both of them. Vestergaard doesn’t do what he does, he doesn’t put Faes in that position where he’s got someone running at him with a decision to make. If you’re going to go that high up the pitch as a centre half you’ve got to win the ball. It’s a fundamental.

Vestergaard was much more at fault than Faes. He's absolutely miles out of position and gets spun on the halfway line leaving Faes totally exposed. Not denying Faes could’ve done better, either. Maybe saying Stolarcyzk was fault/error is a bit harsh but for me it’s a shot he should be saving. But this is why I’m a fan and not a goalkeeper or goalkeeping coach

Scheffler completely flopping has been an absolute joy.

He’s made 3 big errors leading to goals this season. Preston, Oxford and last night. Really seems to be struggling with his handling at the minute as well. He’s a great shot stopper but we need a bit more from him at the minute.
