  1. But again this boils down to a lack of accountability from the people that are the ones supposed to be made accountable.
  2. Considering we have to play Portsmouth. I would argue that it is.
  3. I pretty much fully agree with this. We’ve probably done enough in chances over the last 2 games to win 4. It’s the brain dead stuff that’s really hurting us. We’ve switched off at two set pieces over the weekend which have both ultimately lead to us conceding and having backs against the wall, even more so when you consider our frailty when conceding. Unfortunately I think the word is that JJ is a doubt for Saturday. Every single game is must win. We are currently very lucky that we aren’t miles adrift, because of how poor other teams around us are.
  4. I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised if one of their arguments is that a points deduction could seriously harm the future of the clubs existence.
  5. We’ll have Ajaz to come in as well won’t we?
  6. On his day, Fatawu starts most weeks in the prem for most teams apart from “the big 5” and Villa. Even if we stay up I would be very surprised to see JJ stay with us, unless the terms of his loan deal is mandatory. We’ve missed him big time whilst he’s been injured. We were absolutely rubbing our hands and laughing our heads off at £12m for McAteer. A likeable lad with a fantastic work rate, but again someone that was living off a purple patch in 23/24.
  7. Oh they’re hopeful of course, they wouldn’t have appealed it otherwise.
  8. Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda. We also should’ve beat Preston on Friday - similar amount of shots, 4x the amount of shots on target compared to them. A big problem for these players is the moment we concede a goal they look absolutely clueless, the panic instantly sets in. The mindset is exactly what’s wrong with a lot of our players at this club. They’re on big money, most of them have massive experience of playing in the top flight. They think they’re above it and the biggest problem of it all is that they’ve not got the heart for the battle, the nitty gritty. Yesterday we had players starting for us that have won the FA Cup, played in a champions league final, played in a European semi final. Players that have won this division just 2 years ago, and didn’t just win it absolutely walked it and played most of the games at around 65%. At the start of the season you look at teams on paper and there isn’t many players from the top 6 sides you would’ve thought would get in our side. You full well know that come the start of this summer a number of these players will be moving on, either abroad at a higher level or in the case of maybe 1/2 back to the prem. There’s a lot of them that simply don’t care enough. I can’t half blame Ayew for doing this, but as soon as the final whistle went yesterday he took his shirt straight off and walked down the tunnel. Of course his performances haven’t been acceptable and I think sometimes the criticism has been a bit ott - but that’s the stuff we are dealing with. And it’s not just been this season things haven’t been right since 2023. We were lucky in the sense that getting relegated first time around the players we had were simply too good as well as unearthing Hermansen and Fatawu - and that’s what got us through a lot of games, along with one of the best managers we’ve had. It’s a sad state of affairs that 10 years to the day of the greatest achievement football has arguably ever seen, could see us hit our lowest ever point in football. Ultimately, if we go down the 6 points we’ve been deducted will be the decisive factor and that solely will lie on the people that are running the club. Of course the players should and could do better, we should never be in this position with a points deduction.
  9. SUPER SK3, SUPER SK3, SUPER SK3, SUPER SK3 BLUEY!
  10. You’ve never been boo’d at work?
  11. Yeah but 3 of them points for Portsmouth will probably come against us.
  12. Yep agree. I’ve said it before, he’s the player I expected we had signed - this season, rather than that first season with us which I think he’s still living off. I will say I don’t think it’s not from the want of trying with him. His confidence is shattered and he’s becoming too predictable to defend against.
  13. Yep totally agree. The players will see that and think oh sound. There’s a woman at home games and every single time she gets her scarf out lays it on the advertising boards and whether it’s 5-0 or 0-5 you can bet your life she’ll be there blowing smoke up their asses. I just don’t get it. Majority of them do not care about me, you or anyone else in that ground.
  14. I was a bit lower down row 8 seat 55. I’m as vocal as anyone during games but the language and some of the comments were ridiculous and most of the time right down my ear. My lad will certainly have a new vocabulary Would never moan to anyone about swearing at the football it’s part and parcel of it. Was talking to the bloke next to me he even said himself “he’s never played the game” mental.
  15. On a completely different note, the bloke behind me yesterday I’ve never wanted to punch someone so much in all my life. We really have some moronic fans. This guy d clearly never even played at amateur level but was offering up all the solutions. Took me everything I had to keep my mouth shut.
  16. Once again I asked someone that was clapping why they were clapping them off. “I’m a real fan” was the response given. I said “oh right, do you get clapped off at work after having a bad day at the office?” Suprisingly, said person didn’t know what to say.
  17. First half was dire. Second half we upped the tempo and really should’ve won. Their keeper has made 3 world class saves, we’ve hit the post the bar. You could just tell after Ricardo didn’t score that it wasn’t going to be our day. This game isn’t going to define our season. The poor board room decisions, chucking away half time leads against Middlesbrough (against 10 men when they equalised) Wrexham, Portsmouth, Bristol City, Southampton, Ipswich. Self capitulating with consistently brain dead decisions. The whole season from September onwards has been a complete mess. We are lucky that fate is somewhat still in our own hands, but the hope is dwindling and dwindling fast.
  18. Makes it worse doesn’t it? The Lino’s are shit scared to make their own decisions these days.
  19. Well yeah because Daka was otherwise in wasn’t he.
  20. Yet when Okoli gets sent off, their lad is 20/25 yards behind where Daka was.
  21. Some things you read and have to look twice. Support the team you’re there to watch. The scores are read out at half time and full time.
  22. He’s still committed a “DOGSO” whether he played advantage or not.
  23. How did he not send their lad off that took out Daka out? The worst we’ve had in a long long time.
  24. I mean this is very true.
  25. Should’ve won. They’ve scored a goal that was 2mm away from not counting and a looping back post header. We were the better side by far. Have to take our chances. Officials were beyond woeful.
