Argentinian striker Julián Carranza joins Leicester City on loan The 25-year-old made 30 appearances for the Rotterdam club in all competitions last term, including seven in the UEFA Champions League, after an impressive four-year spell in Major League Soccer. Speaking on Foxes Hub, he said: “I’m really happy and really excited to be here. I’m thankful for this opportunity so I cannot wait to get started. “When the opportunity came up, of course I didn’t have any single doubt about it. We all know what Leicester City is as a team, and as an institution as well, so when the opportunity came, I was really excited for it. “I have some experience in different places. Of course, this is a new experience as well. Everyone wants to play in England. Every single player wants to play here, so I’m really excited and I can’t wait to get started. “I’ve been watching Leicester for a long time so, as I said, I know the team, I know the institution as well. We all know around the world what this team is. When the opportunity came up, I had no doubts about it.” Carranza was born in Argentina and started his career at Argentine Primera División side Banfield, before making the switch to MLS side Inter Miami in 2019. He spent four years in the MLS with The Herons and Philadelphia Union, racking up a total of 37 goals and 15 assists from 115 regular season matches in the United States, becoming a key part of the side that finished runners-up in the 2022 MLS Cup. Julián’s performances earned him a move to the Eredivisie in the summer of 2024, where his goals in his debut campaign helped Feyenoord to a third-place finish in the league, as well as the knockout phases of the UEFA Champions League. He will now link up with his Leicester City team-mates who are next in action against Oxford United in the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday 13 September (12:30pm kick-off).
  2. I did wonder if it was the can of monster I had earlier that was causing it
  3. He would do well up there I think
  4. He was on loan at Norwich for the first half of that season as well
  5. 22/23 - Norwich and Middlesbrough 29 appearances - 21 starts 1,710 minutes - 19 90s 8 goals and 4 assists Goal contribution every 142.5 minutes
  6. 3rd choice striker once the new guy joins and will be leaving for nothing next summer Get him gone
  7. This is why I have admin in my office, so I can spend the day on here
  8. KDH hadn’t played a single minute of senior football at Alves’s age
  9. Really looking forward to following Alves’s loan Hopefully we get at least a couple more out on loan
  10. Can only imagine where he would be if he hadn’t had that injury Love to see that player is struggling to even get into Wovles under 21s when he is 19 this month
  11. A shame as I was hoping this season would have been his chance to get into the squad - especially with Bilal leaving as well - clearly a bit down the pecking order for Martí though I would've preferred it was a Championship loan as well as he was decent for a proper crap Cardiff side last season but at least he will be fighting at the top of league one Still has plenty of time to develop for us as well, KDH still hadn't been out on loan or even made a senior appearance at Alves's age
  12. I would prefer someone like Jakob Breum (dreaming I know) but as long as he is over that knee injury then Ramsey on a loan with option to buy could be another smart deal Looks like Burnley paid about £14m for him
  13. I think we would want both JJ is more centre mid / box to box and Ramsey is an attacking mid so would replace Bilal
  14. Knew as soon as I saw the name I should make it clear in the thread title
  15. Would be the Bilal replacement I imagine Spent all of last season out with a knee injury
  16. Skipp I would think
  17. Loan with option to buy for what seems like a pretty low fee is a great deal
  18. Booooooo, drop the asking price
  19. Rak-Sakyi hopefully
  20. Pay the money and flog Daka to Saudi
