Interesting that this positive window - mainly getting rid of deadwood - has coincided with a person involved in that side of things. It rather implies that Jon Rudkin isn’t very good at his job.

With some players you really do wonder how they have made it as a professional player. I put Cullen in that bracket.

I think he’s been excellent last few games. He has a few moments where under hits a pass or whatever and he’s learning at this level like a lot of them, but since I was critical of him a few games ago he’s been very very good.

I like it when his hair bobs around when he’s running, and he’s definitely on the LCFC All Time Dreadlocks XI along with Jamie Lawrence

I agree with this. Cullen and Burns look poor so far, and let’s not mention Watson, though I think with Bristric I’ve seen enough to see potential. He’s had moments, and can’t be easy for a young lad from Eastern Europe to walk into our club right now. Plus he’s not played that many first team minutes in his career to date. If we continue to play a nucleus of academy players with some of the more solid signings then we might just have a good season.
