Mavididi not even in the squad

As a few have said, the way football has gone and the clear corruption and favouritism at the top of the game plus our gross mismanagement leaves a sour taste. But I inherited my passion for this club from 4-5 generations before me, and I’m a stubborn bugger so Aiyawatt and Rudkin won’t take that away from me - although they’ve come pretty close. We go again, I suppose.

It’s going to take much longer than that to sell us, particularly with the sale being a portfolio of assets and not just the club. I agree with a lot of the comments on here though. I’ve just seen his YouTube reel and he looks really good, but it does make you wonder why our own lads who have equally good YouTube reels from same youths levels aren’t being given a go. It can only be that Page is being sold, and they don’t trust Alves to be a first team regular as this guy looks like he plays in a similar area. But I also agree on your wider point. This is the reset we’ve been craving for years. We now need to use this as an opportunity to start again with a fresh slate, and for example not dish out stupid contracts next season if we’re to get promoted. But I have no faith while Rudkin is around. There’s also a few more donkeys to put out to pasture like BCDR etc.

Funny when you enter League One you sign players you’ve never heard of

Early days this season, but yet again he starts the season (and I know we’ve not yet had a league game…) not in the first team 11. He’s never been good enough has he? Him and his agent have had a blinder robbing KP blind all these years.

This is the first season for ages I know literally nothing about opposition players, but we need to watch out for their striker - assuming unlike us they have a settled one and haven’t had to get one through the door in the last few days.

Paint the seats at the stadium so they are actually royal blue. Gimmicks are fine, but I also want an owner to have a clear and transparent model - like we used to have that worked so well that others have used as a blueprint.

It was reported in pre season he’d been left out (going to Spain I think) as an offer had come in for him. So I guess the club wanted him to go, but he’s still here to my knowledge? You’re right the back line is a total mess.

Haha I’d actually briefly forgot about the lack of a striker. And last season we started the season with one first team striker and it was Patson Daka who basically didn’t count as a striker 😂

While there’s been positives to the ins and outs this summer, the fact we’re likely needing to recruit two first team centre backs just before or after the opening league game I’m afraid is not great. I appreciate the amount of activity behind clearing the swamp, but am I alone in thinking this is pretty negligent?

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but after Caleb ‘Bombscare’ Okoli’s performance today I think Faes should play if we can’t get rid. Souttar had his moments as well, but my god Okoli is terrible. I’ve given him the benefit of the doubt at higher levels, but I can’t believe he’s made it this far as a footballer.

So it’s very early days and so on, but we look nothing like the Russell Martin Southampton side. We look every bit like the Leicester side since Enzo.
