He has been the cause for goals in the last 3 games. Can’t press or tackle and follows the ball like my dog. Useless at making decisions, can’t turn with the ball but then he will suddenly steamroll his way up the pitch holding defenders off. He’s strong in attack but physically weak in defence. RW and RB are priority.

Mavadidi slows everything down, plays himself into trouble and ignores the overlap. On the right JJ looks to pass backwards as soon as he’s in space but then stops rather than offering up an option to draw a defender away. The ball keeps getting recycled in the middle until it’s sent backwards. If we get anything it will be from Bilal and Facoundo to Vardy.

I like Mav but it’s frustrating that he never looks to pass to the unmarked player on the overlap. Always stands still or passes backwards. Justin is done, offers nothing positive unless you’re the opposition.

Last three games he’s given goals away from being brain dead.

To easy when we have Soumare and Justin occupying those areas.

He ruined that attack by passing it slowly sideways instead of forwards into space.

JJ already leaving so much space and doing a lot of pointing.

Their cbs are going to have free rein in our midfield. Only Bilal attempts to make a tackle.

I’m expecting Soumare to jog after Haaland then stop when he gets close enough to tackle so he can watch him score a worldie, just like he did with Salah. I’m not expecting anything different from these players. Too much pissing around the back putting each other under pressure, then Soumare passes to the opposition or JJ punts it down field. Mav needs to starting running into space rather than walk towards the defender and hit the ball against his legs, he could pass to VK as well when he overlaps. I want to see Bilal and Focundo but expecting Kasey to start. I would prefer him in the middle instead of Soumare, at least he will track runners and press. Winks needs to take control of the attacks.

Also when we had a good counter attack in the second half, he gets the ball and instead of carrying it forward he stops and squares it to the running Mavadidi instead of into space, Mav has to stop and the ball gets sent back. Brain dead player.

I hope he comes back. We need someone like him with energy, looking to press, tackle and get the ball up the pitch. Mavadidi is too scared to take anyone on or won’t pass to VK, Ayew falls over or passes backwards and Soumare won’t track, press or attempt to tackle.

Too many brain dead players and too many that are happy to slow down play and pass backwards putting others under pressure. Bilal is the only person in midfield who actually attempts and makes a tackle. Winks played well, we missed him when he came off. Another goal from JJs side where he leaves space then has to react and gets skinned. Ayew is useless, for every goal he scores we have to put up with several games where he stinks play out by slowing every attack down to either pass backwards or holds onto the ball looking to fall over and con a freekick rather than release players. Soumare was decent in the first half but likes to ping the ball backwards too often than try and turn. As soon as Winks comes off he forgets how to pass. Useless in the press as always. For the third goal he ran back but then when he got close to Salah he stopped and let him shoot, why wouldn’t he keep running and try and block or tackle.

Soumare was at fault, he stopped running as soon as he got close to him, if he carried on he could’ve tackled or blocked the shot.

Soumare stops running and lets him shoot. Another brain dead player.

So two handed tackles are fine if you are Liverpool.

We have zero press without Bilal.

Brain dead from Daka there, killed the attack by squaring it to Mav rather than playing it into space ahead.

Skipp standing off for 5 mins then can’t decide to do anything.

Ayew keeps stinking the attacks out. Doing his usual slowing it down and pass back into trouble.

Ayew is feeling the fog in his bones.

He has the whole pitch infront with no defenders and he walks it to them and loses it straight away. Brain dead.

Ruud knows that we need experience like Ayew. 😂

Another game watching Ayew do nothing apart from slow down one of the few attacks we get. He struggles to control the ball, when he does holds on to it for too long, turns on the spot hoping to throw himself to the ground and loses it. McAteer struggles to beat his player but at least he tries to get something going. Not sure why Facundo isn’t being picked, while he hasn’t been great the last few games, he has more to offer than Ayew. Him and Soumare will be watching Salah walk by them all game. Soumare has been good at getting the ball out from defence once it’s passed to him on the front foot, otherwise he pings it backwards. I know he wont provide any defensive cover or press so I won’t get frustrated at it anymore.

Yes, it’s a massive cope from me as I can’t see any other reason a professional manager would pick such dross at home to a team as bad as usx
