  1. Seriously wind you neck in, if I'm a drip god knows what you are. Condemn whoever the new manager is before they've been appointed all you like, but as someone has alluded to already who are the names you are putting forward if you're such an expert.
  2. I wish for promotion. This guy has a track record of promotion. I'm not championing Parker nor anyone else really, who ever it is I will support them and not moan before they've even be appointed.
  3. Yeah as I've said a million times, two promotions with two different clubs in the championship is no mean achievement, it can't be underestimated. He wasn't great in the prem, but we aren't in the prem right now, it's simple as that. Who is to say he can't succeed there aswell. Marco Silva had failed several times but found his feet at Fulham. We have just been relegated we aren't going to be employing a world beater. Everyone is a gamble, why not just get behind who ever is chosen instead of moaning on.
  4. Ok mate sorry didn't know you were such an expert and could see into the future. Which manager are you appointing then who will not only guarantee promotion but then have us chasing Europe the season after?
  5. I didn't say I want hoefkens but whoever is appointed, his dress sense and hair style won't really interest me.
  6. Yeah they were wasting their time on Potter wernt they?
  7. If you judge who should manage us by what he looks like, then I'm glad your not on the recruitment panel.
  8. To be fair if the team I managed lost 9-0 in a professional match I'd call them all cvnts too.
  9. Funny that people's main criticism of Parker is he can't hack it in the prem, but Farke got Norwich relegated(by miles) twice and yet is somehow a better option? I think people underestimate just how good an achievement it is to get two promotions in two years with two different clubs.
  10. I think sometimes a Puel is needed. No question he ran his course and we needed to get rid, but he served a purpose. If Parker gets us promoted, he's served his purpose.
  11. Let's hope he's the BRAINS behind this rescue mission
  12. Can't run before walking. Just getting back to the prem is what we want worry about the rest later. It's a bit like getting a firefighter in to stave off relegation, just the task in hand is what's important. He also can't be written off yet in the prem. Look at Marco Silva, he failed at several clubs before doing well last year at Fulham.
  13. Can you explain why it's a joke? He's got two promotions in two seasons in the league weve just been demoted to.
  14. Scott Parkers blue and white army. Support him and get behind him, don't judge him before he's even started work. If by October we are in the bottom 3 then hound him out, not before he's even had a chance.
  15. Well it wasn't Rodgers who assessed the injuries (I hope)
  16. Wow. Yeah I get that 2 years ago he wanted champs league (probably, although does any one actually know this for sure) But who cares?? It's the here and now, and who offers him a contract. It's like saying he wouldn't go to Chelsea now because they're not in Europe, but of course he still would.
  17. Exactly my point though, if you read my post, I said that 6 months is like a lifetime in football. Football changes very very quickly and so does perception. Villa yes since Gerrard, are big spending, ambitious and since Emery are clearly a force. They will continue to grow. The club's have gone in complete opposite directions and I'm not surprised he's gone there.
  18. He wasn't expected to play again in the seaeon that's why. Don't think Rodgers was a doctor. He wasn't even a football manager.
  19. This, along with most, depends on the player. If Barnes is happy to stay here, we can ask the earth for him. But if. Newcastle, Villa West Ham etc come in and he can play in Europe and stay in the prem, probably get paid more, then I wouldn't be surprised if he politely asked to go. I can't see him kicking off and refusing to play, but what's the point of having any sulking players who would rather be in a higher league or elsewhere than fighting for us?? We have to be careful we have a squad of hungry players here next year.
  20. No way. The club wouldn't make an official announcement if it was a done deal.
  21. Yeah it's not about it's or buts, no one knows how we will do next year we might come straight back, we might not but right now we are div 1 and Villa are top half with European football and how some can say that's a sideways move I don't know. Then again, someone thought Castagne was Dutch so.....
  22. I'm sure I read it's four years.
  23. I'm really not sure how it's sideways?? You can't use the argument that from 18 months ago when he turned out contract down, it's the here and now. Villa are massively ambitious, have a terrific manager and squad and will be competing in the top half of the prem, whilst we are manageress, relegated and our squad depleted. It's just sour grapes. We have to face it that we are a championship club and Villa are light years ahead right now
