Maybe, just maybe, Coady is injured, Faes wasn't in the squad, so he played Vestergaard merely for those reasons? Castagne was poor yes, but as I've said we cannot be judged playing Liverpool.

Let's get this straight, anyone who is using this game as any barometer for our coming season needs their head checking. We aren't going to play Liverpool next year, we haven't completed our business yet, and above all, it's a friendly, a training session with squad numbers. Some of the football in the first half hour was magnificent I thought, passing under pressure and we created 3 clear chances, 2 for Ndidi and one for McAteer. It's clear we have an idea of what we are doing and a manager keen for us to play with style and players who seem happy to play for him, can't we just have some positivity for once on here????

There's those who think we will piss the league and that every team is basically Oadby town, and those that think we are the worst team ever and will be lucky not to go down. I don't think either is true, and there can't be any judgement on pre season or the transfer window yet. At the end of August we will know a hell of a lot more, we will know who has left, what the squad looks like and what start we have made. There is no point being highly optimistic or pessimistic at this stage.

Not a transfer but it's just occurred to me the best player in the league last year Nathan Tella, will potentially be back in this league again next season with Southampton. Surely Saints at this moment have the best looking squad.

They have a much bigger better squad than we did. He will be rotated. Gordon, Isak, Murphy etc, he won't be a shoe in for every game like he was here. He's bound to look happy. What do you expect? Him to be almost in tears saying I never wanted to leave my beloved Leicester?? He's just got from the championship to a champions League club, got a pay rise, they've got a lot of English players and one of the best coaches in the game, so yeah I'd be fairly happy too.

Exactly this. A homegrown player who got 13 goals in the prem from the wing. Easily the best we've had since Mahrez. God knows what we will end up with on the wing.

Totally disagree. If anything it's worse, it's a double whammy. If we were in the prem, you could stomach losing a player or two, and we would have a good chance of replacing him with a good player. We have little choice now in recruitment because all the best players will be snapped up by clubs in Europe or the prem.

It was an experience, that I'm still glad we went through. It made me appreciate the good times more. It's what supporting a real club is all about, you go through ups and downs.

I went to every away game in the title winning season but from the Sunderland game onwards suddenly no tickets available it was a joke the club took thousands for themselves.

In my lifetime I've seen everything winning 3 titles, 3 wembley cup finals wembley play off finals champions league, European semi finals it's been ups and downs and always will be but so much more good than bad. Some of our fans I despair about always moaning. A stupid pre season kick about has been postponed, and some on twitter are saying we will be relegated it's laughable.

Do we have to have threads like this? This is clearly in light of today. It was a business venture set up by the club while we were in the premier league. It's literally what every premier league club does these days, goes abroad pre season. They're still training every day, and no doubt will try and set up a game of some sort this week. All these threads do is spread doom and gloom all the time.

Wow 😮😮 Raul is a top replacement for Mitrovic at that price. Maybe not quite the same after his head injury but for that price he's a great buy. Still doesn't mean Kels won't be a target for someone like Fulham. I can see a few players like him starting the season with us and then being sold late in the window when bids come in that we can't turn down. Praet, Kelechi, Castagne, Faes, Iversen, Ndidi, Soumare, any or all of those could still be sold before the end of August. I can see more loans being done by us later on to replace outgoings.

Poch loves young players, always has, so if anything we have less chance of signing this kid than if another manager was in charge. He's said he wants Colwill and Gallagher to stay and be a part of his rebuild and they've signed young players recently like that guy from villa with the long name, Fofana, etc I can see this kid being part of their squad.

Almost certain Piroe will join when Kelechi goes. Jury is out on this of course but needs must. Piroe is a proven championship striker and young, Kelechi has one year left and probably wants to stay in the top flight. It's just where we are. We would all love to keep players but we have little control after relegation.

Burnley are like that lad who just messed around at school and copied the clever kid in exams. Every player we want fvcking Burnley are there. We need ANPR checks on Vinny's motor to see if he's been seen anywhere near Seagrave lately.

KDH is like my favourite player, I'm rooting for him every week simply because he absolutely kills himself every time he plays, and you can tell he cares. He has got genuine ability, he's shown in his first season. Last year he was dragged down with the rest of them at times, and lost his place near the end and Soumare and Youri were nowhere near his standard or energy pressing. In this league he will be a superstar I'm sure.
