In a completely shocking turn of events it turns out Daka is not the answer to whatever the question is.

I don't dislike Ayew as much as some on here. But I really dont think his playing style suits us if our wingers play as out and out wingers and he has no one running beyond him

I get the impression from the snippets I've heard (admittedly second hand)that he doesnt particularly like it at Leicester, too many egos etc. And he enjoyed his time at Cardiff much more. Wouldn't be surprised to see him leave at some point regardless of whether we want to keep him

He can use both feet and doesnt look like he's going to fall over the ball whenever he has it. So hes already a massive upgrade on Daka

I'll take it, the squad still feels paper thin, but VK and Souttar, will come back in at some point and pad out the numbers.

He had some poor touches you cant deny that but thats something he can work on. What I was really impressed with last night was his positioning throughout the time he was on the pitch. He was actively seeking out space and looking for the ball. Too many of our players are static and almost actively avoid coming for the pass. If the mental side of the game is coming naturally to him thats only a good sign and hopefully we can continue to develop his confidence and technicals.

It is the case and thats exactly what we've done, Page a 17 year old just started in the last game. We are in dire straits, but the quicker people come to terms with that the better.
