They could do it online. They could also offer to meet at another (neutral) venue, which would be churlish of the club to refuse. The overall aim for any meeting is for progress and sharing of information, not for it to occur at a specific location, so if the club wants to show it is truly wanting to engage then not all meetings need to be at the stadium. As it's a 'community club', it wouldn't hurt to get out into it.

Ok. But can we see the proof of why they need to go please. Otherwise, we're just a lynch mob. It feels as if some posters in this thread have more information than has been publicly released and are making statements based on that information whilst forgetting that the vast majority of us do not have that information. Don't be like the club, don't be like the current FT board, show us that you're the better option and provide the receipts and let us judge for ourselves

Great. But did they offer an opinion?;.and what was it? .. and what points in the opinion are deemed not to be concrete or are irrelevant to the complaint? Without the complaint made, the consultation/opinion provided and then the objections to the provided opinion, we have no clue what's actually being said. Someone needs to start providing receipts.

Has anyone ever suggested changing the date of the AGM to coincide with a quicker release? They're not very complicated accounts, certainly not to have wait 6 months for. Having an AGM in the Summer would set you up for the coming season and allow you to start initiatives that can run the whole season through. At present the members are hobbled for half of the season not knowing the financial state and you're reporting on incomplete things that run the course of a season. Members could vote on initiatives at the start of a season and set the direction with a full season of info behind them.

AHH there is.. in the Rules document, section 25. However, it needs to be submitted 28 days before the meeting, so that boat has been missed. Back to awkward questions on the day then.

The document opens up and it is for accounts at the Trust ending Aug 2024. So assuming, the same period has been adopted for the previous year, the accounts will have completed in Aug 2025. Are you saying it is going to take almost 6 months or more for the 2025 accounts to be published?

The point about the funds is annoying me. The latest accounts on the website only show to 2023. They are as bad in being transparent about their financial state as the club. I did ask on another thread (so maybe it got missed by the FT board members on here), and having to go through the enquiries email and Mr Digby does not make me think I will get much progress, but, what I'd like to know is: * Where are the accounts for the previous year please? * What is the process for asking a question, or getting a question sponsored to be asked at the AGM? ..there is no agenda published that I can see and the published articles provide no guidance on how this gets achieved. I agree it is minor, but every breach must be reported so that the ICO can keep an audit against an organisation. If it keeps happening, they can then suggest amendments to training and practices.

As a FT member, could any of the board on here provide some information to the following queries please. 1. The latest accounts published on the FT site are y/e Aug 2024. Why haven't the latest for 2025 been published? If you scroll down on this page (https://foxestrust.co.uk/documents) to the Latest set of published accounts link, it should be for 2025 should it not? 2. On the same page (https://foxestrust.co.uk/documents) there is a link to the document for Standing Orders for general meetings v2021. It mentions that mover of a motion can be presented at a meeting. Can you please tell me if motions can be presented at that meeting in-situ, or if the motion has to be submitted prior to the meeting ( possibly so that it can added as an agenda item for the Chair?). If it has to be presented prior, how long beforehand must that be and to whom? Thanks for your efforts in providing any information.

The only thing to check for now would be if any Weighted vote invites have been sent. I very much doubt it, but sometimes "Trust, but verify" is an appropriate mantra here.
