  1. What makes you think people are accepting it as a done deal, or that they have a lack of empathy or concern? What metrics are causing you to think this way?
  2. Ok, I'll bite. How will you hold them accountable? ...and how would you punish them?
  3. indubitably
  4. If Merz gets in, then it's all starting to feel 1930s..
  5. Agreed. But I don't think you can load all of those pieces at the door of the US or even Trump. That is lazy and populist thinking in its own right. As you well know, and have said multiple times, the problem rests with all the World's governments and I think your time might be better spent identifying governments that are persuadable to your argument. The US is quite clearly not in listening mode at present.
  6. I would have thought that stopping the use of depleted uranium, phosphorus and attacking operating and derelict nuclear power stations that could go into meltdown would be beneficial for civilisation in the short to medium term? .. certainly for localised civilisation and all civilisation in the longer term. It helps to minimise one of the variables identified that can threaten human continued survival.
  7. Trump has already said climate related policy is not his focus and the attempted disabling and defunding of projects that fave towards the Earth from Space is an actual demonstration of that.
  8. Great press for the Govt. politics-wise, but bloody awful for UK plc going forward on any digital economy front, and it could get a lot worse. Seems that, just like the club atm, there are some bad advisors looking at short term gains and leaders who are not clued in.
  9. Just too easy for them
  10. https://www.theverge.com/2025/1/20/24348210/brendan-carr-federal-communications-commission-chair-trump You don't have to imagine. Read on....
  11. @Foxes_Trust Is there a term in the NDA that prohibits the publishing of the NDA itself? I'm going to assume No here as you have already acknowledged that it exists and mentioned that it covers some areas already explore. To that end, will you please publish the NDA in its entirety.
  12. Forgive me @Foxes_Trust Can you please cite in that document where it says that the elected person serves for 3 years please. I can only see one pertinent section on voting where it cites Mr Ian Bason for 24/25. I've searched for both terms of "3 years" and "36 months" on the document but had no positive returns.
  13. One for @Foxes_Trust Did Mr Ian Bason sign the NDA for himself or as the Foxes Trust?
  14. Thank you. And that is then codified into the rules? Or was just agreed as a quorum of that meeting? Not looking to go down EFL embarrassment here. Just want to make sure it's all square.
  15. The Club Representatives and the Supporter Representatives will each appoint a chair for each FAB meeting. For the Football Club, this role will be taken up by Chief Executive, Susan Whelan. Supporters will be represented by one member of the Foxes Trust, two elected members of the current FCC and three independent supporters following a recruitment process So the Chair from FT can be different for each meeting.. if the Trust willed it so. Given there are 3FCC's does the membership of the FAB also rotate within those 3 groups of so there is a fair representation?
  16. @foxinsocks @RYM Ok thank you. So the FSA provided no legal, statutory framework, but acted more as a 'matk' of sorts that a process has been followed? i.e. you cannot point to a rulebook/guidance document and say X club did not follow Y rule at subsection Z? If so, the FSA is also a busted flush. @FoxFossil That is a good suggestion.
  17. Ok, thanks for the summary. So forget the Trust for a moment - it's clear from the FAB plan and the ToR that they're irrelevant at present. Am I correct in understanding that the FSA are actually the arbiter here?... i.e. you said that that LCFC are looking to be cited by the FSA as an example of best practice. This would suggest that the FSA are the ones to lobby and point to examples of malpractice or at least non-adherence. So would I be better off searching the FSA site for documentation on how FAB's must/should/could be formed, assessed and amended?
  18. Just been reading through the FAB plan pdf (why not just an html page??) Found a Monitor section We will regularly review the Fan Engagement Plan and assess the effectiveness of the Fan Advisory Board, with the help of feedback from the Fan Advisory Board and the wider fan community, making necessary adjustments to maximise its effectiveness. I'll check the ToR, but has it been documented anywhere about how this assessment is made and on what period? How are they quantifying "effectiveness", there must be some tangible Key Performance Indicators to be able to make this statement. Anyone know what they are?
  19. Having read through all the pages, the key question for me is can the FAB structure, terms of engagement be changed? If they can't then whatever you do in FT is moot. I have other queries but the above is fundamental, if that's stuck in place or you need the other parties within to vote for a change then I think you'll be waiting for Godot.
  20. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20g288yldko oh dear.... we really do not make it easy for ourselves do we.
  21. You presumed correctly. https://www.pig-world.co.uk/news/dover-port-checks-uncover-large-volumes-of-illegally-imported-meat-from-asf-countries.html Can't beat a bit of ASF in the morning.. to go with some KLF tunes blasting out on my VHF radio
  22. I would also be amazed if they did not somehow land at least part of the bill back onto the Palestinian state in the form of loans that would take years to pay off and effectively hold the country in hock to the US and Israel. It's worked for China and Russia and for the U.S before
  23. There were checks before? ...as in the same style of checks that aren't being checked in the article you referred to about no checks. 😏
  24. Not really, starting to see more and more countries denouncing the suggestion. I think it is mainly just him and his cabal of yes men who thinks it's viable. You have to remember his M.O. Say lots of sh1t, some of it will stick, make policy based on the sticky sh1t.
  25. I guess the question for me is.... was there peace in the equilibrium that is being upset now? . . looking around, I would say "no", and technically he hasn't started a war... yet. He's asking questions and offering opinions which ppl diagree with sure, but any World leader is going to have the same problems when they ask they same types of questions... at least he is talking about Gaza rather then letting it drift off the news agenda. Do you believe that he is really is going to deport all the residents from Gaza? * NOTE: I am merely asking the question for debate, I do not endorse or condone any of Trump's utterances, but I think it's useful to look at the reality of situations and ask the 'What If?' questions.
