When the new owners came in, they offered a plan that had their ambition of winning the PL in 5yrs' time. 2015/16 met that but nonetheless I too am wondering if the plan has now changed. Given all the money coming into the PL from the new TV deal and the uplift the club has had with brand recognition across the world, it kinda feels like it's slipping back, when we should be pushing on, both on the pitch and in other areas such developing the women's side of the game a lot more. From recollection, we had one of the better male/female mixes in the leagues and should be looking to maximise that as well. Big money buys doesn't necessarily mean success, but it signals intention and ambition. my 2p.
