This result has really spoiled my early Sunday morning breakfast. This forum gives me a feel for the general atmosphere around the club from 12000 miles away . Before I came to AUS in my early 20,s I was one of Leicesters most dedicated supporters . In 1969 I just about managed every game home and away. And yes I am an ancient 79 year old. If the manager is sacked there will be nobody decent with any league experience that would come within half a mile of the club . Seriously the club could not do any worse than appoint a local Sunday league manager. When I heard the club had got into financial bed with our best rip off merchant the Macquarie bank then I reckon we need to be very afraid.

I can sense the frustration on this site however a bit of perspective would be handy . Just managed to find 10 minutes highlights which I found encouraging. The days of getting up at sparrows fart to watch the lads in the premier league are long gone. Here in Aus I get the rare match on pay TV And yes as much as folks winge about the manager and yes I hate tippy tappy football where are city going to find a manager with league experience . 99% of managers would avoid city like the plague. Also when I heard city had got into financial bed with the Macqarie bank, one of our best ripoff merchants ,I can see bankruptcy looming. Look on the bright side at least city are still able to put a team on the field.

I have been a city supporter for 70 years and rate Frank as the best and most skilfull player in that period .Can still see the goal he scored when he flicked the ball over his and a defenders head with his heel and volleyed in. Pure class.

As for TV for some obscure reason we have the game live in Aus on BeinSport.

We do not get third division matches on TV here in Aus. so I will not have the pleasure of swearing at the TV. It has been obvious since the first relegation from the premier league that the club was selling its best players to cover debts to the point the club is left with over payed players nobody wants . The club is bankrupt and I suspect in the current climate of rich organisations owning clubs there will be nobody queing up to buy the club . As a 7 year old watching my first game live with my uncle in 1952 did I think the club would drop to the levels of despair most supporters now feel. As a professional contract engineer I have work in a few organisations with incompetant management . I all case the management could not see the company problems were caused by them. As other folks have mentioned on this topic Rodgers was the worst manager by far I have witnessed in the City hot seat in the last 70 years . Just goes to show what Irish blarney can do when we have such incompetants running the show.

Management technobabble. Has the imprint of AI all over it. Been a fan for 70 years. How could City,s fortunes have sunk so low.

Graham was part of the great Matt Gillies team of the early 1960,s which I reckon was a better team than that which won the comp a few years back . Graham was a really dependable player made very few mistakes . I was at a lot of of City,s games when Graham was playing . He was a local lad that did very godd.
