  1. Alves. Monga also says his best position is as a 10. If BEK goes I'd like a better replacement than Sam Greenwood but happy for the back up to be Alves.
  2. Will be our top scorer on 6 goals next season.
  3. That's sad to hear, I absolutely love the country. Hope it improves pal
  4. I had a major allergic reaction in Thailand back in 2010 and the doctor who came out to my hotel with one of them fishing tackle boxes of drugs said she'd prescribed me anthrax. I'd misheard her as she was giving me a fast action jab of it and it was instead atarax. I understand the worry.
  5. Plays academy players being my primary reason 😂
  6. I might be flawed in my thinking, but I'd prefer him to Dyche for example.
  7. Why is tourism so down in Thailand?
  8. Absolute chaos, love that. Hopefully the same at The Open next month.
  9. Massive step to take when all other coaches of Frank's has departed. I know the circumstances for such a job often don't come with all the support ideally required but if I were Brentford I'd be wanting something more credible.
  10. X 2 of the 3 league appearances he gave him were precisely 1 minute each 😂 Dyche will smoothly take over that baton from RvN then hahahaa
  11. Isn't Monga already about 5ft 10?
  12. Yes we should, as an 8 at Championship level he would be devastating.
  13. Would prefer Jamie Donley
  14. His recent performances for Belgium aren't helping us at all are they. Another we're likely lumbered with.
  15. His output at Genk in a team challenging at the top of their division in an inferior league wasn't massively prolific. He's one that it will be hoped will significantly improve their end product in the next few years.
  16. Good find, based on this then it would appear Evans, Page and Hutchinson whilst could reject pro deals have presumably not notified the club they wish to break their scholar deal and leave this summer. So they'd stay at the very least until the end of their scholar deal.
  17. And if he were then to be kept then the reversal of the provision would hit 25/26 and reduce costs. Very much depends on the clauses in RvN's contract on what severance is due. Most sane clubs do not agree to having to pay off the remainder of managers contracts but we seem to do so.
  18. I can't find the full original retained list
  19. That's probably because he signed a scholar when he was 16 and runs past the end of June. We have been in talks to get him on a pro deal. I presume if he were to reject the pro deal and wanted to break his scholar contract, he'd need to have notified the club this week. Out of interest, I wonder if Trey Nyoni was on the retained list in June 2023.
  20. Hermansen is 5 years younger but I do agree we are unlikely to fetch the figure we would have hoped for. Suppose a lot rests on how desperate Man Utd are this summer.
  21. Chelsea might have favoured Maigan as he's available for their Club World Cup (transfer deadline tonight) but Hermansen is currently injured. Maybe they'll be back in for Mads instead given Maigan unlikely to sign today and will fall through.
  22. He'll play the game and expect to be subsidised by us. Our track record of selling players with a year left is absolutely abysmal.
  23. Still don't see them paying out wages of £70k a week.
  24. We may have missed the boat on that given we are officially an EFL team again and they don't recognise/allows such maneuvers.
  25. Are scholar deals just rolling annual deals until they turn 17 and then pro deals are arranged? Reason I ask is because in order to break the scholar deal and move clubs, players have to notify the club and the league by mid June ahead of next season. But what happens if they turn 17 mid season and refuse a pro deal? With Monga, if it isn't binding then he could notify us in June 2026 he is leaving but reports seems pretty certain the pro deal is signed. I think Birmingham did something similar with Jude Bellingham.
