I love this shout, especially as Hoffenheim have recently signed a player from Bundesliga 2 who i wanted us to look at Tim Lemperle. Plus theyve got Hlozek, Oban, Moerstedt and a few others to choose from. Contract is up in 2026 too.

Yeah i get it, just annoying. Some clubs just have a reputation that makes lower league clubs queue up to loan they're talent but we've had a tough time in recent years get deals but then we release the likes of Ewing, Maswanhise and they get half decent moves that had they got a loan there might have kicked them on. -

Irksome how such clubs might not have been willing to take players like Ewing on loan in the last year or two but will be first in the queue to get them on a free. First world problems and all that but getting loan moves for our academy players and regular gamete seems a battle. -
Be interesting to see what Tom Collomosse has to say tomorrow on his LCFC Q&A, I've a feeling he's confident we'll get Rohl.
-
I think one of them ends up here this summer on loan
-
How have you surmised that? I've not seen that reported anywhere. We were led to believe the 3 year period to the end of 23/24 we hadn't breached as the PL said in January that nobody had. The issue was though we hadn't submitted our accounts for 23/24 to them for them to assess it. They subsequently did and announced towards the end of the season that we had. It was also announced that they were unable to overturn the 22/23 alleged breach.
-
Wouldn't want us to pay that much. I'd hope that's including various add ons.
-
No club has ever had a points deduction for failing to submit they're accounts on time and failing to co-operate is probably more likely to prevent any mitigation in a reduction in points deduction for the PSR breach itself rather than a separate points deduction. Doubt it'll be more than 6-8.
-
Looking forward to it being made clear we haven't even spoken to candidates yet.
-
The extra charges I don't believe have ever incurred points deductions for others (submitting accounts late etc) But the EFL have obviously handed down stuff much more harshly than the PL in the past but as you've explained above for Derby is was PSR + admin.
-
The EFL have given some monsters in the past and i'm not sure how they've been allowed and what the independent commission element of their juridistiction is. Seems like Derby/Luton et al just took it and didn't challenge? Whilst the EFL maybe allowed to hand a deduction down to us, presumably it's still in this instance set by the independent commissioners who act in unison with the PL? Might be a bigger problem if we fail 24/25.
-
I do find it unnerving though as we were under the impression we'd done enough to meet PSR for 23/24 but that now seems to not be the case. I expected a sale this month.
-
100% agree. Anything under £20m and he might as well stay. Not sure he's the sort to really push for a move. I like Stolarczyk and happy for him to be our no.1 if Mads does go but still think Hermansen is the better all round goalkeeper.
-
You can well see one of Keane, Mee or Dawson here this summer.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR
Ric Flair replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can anyone offer any insight in to what the possible punishment might be for failing to submit our accounts on time? I don't recall any club getting points deductions for that in the past, but perhaps the EFL are different. Be interesting to hear if Maguire still thinks only the PL will be able to bring charges for the 3 year period ending 23/24. -
Still puts us £2.5m down on the books but they might view that as worthwhile just to get him gone.
-
Been pretty impressive at Braga both times, not sure why he's just left as they were very good last season.
-
I'd not be surprised if Carlos Carvalhal comes in to the reckoning.

Pod being recorded right now -
His surname rhymes with Skol. That's good enough for me. Can anyone do a photoshop of me and Rohl swigging tins of it together?

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

They wanted him last summer but seemingly felt £20m was too much for them at that point. -
I'd rather Pardew or Bruce than Dyche

OK, it's great
