I know who my money would be on if he tried to start a fight with Vardy.

What a bunch of fannies with the notable exception of the poster Atomic. It's all part of the sport and entertainment, if it's too much for those bed wetters they should go to the theatre for entertainment. McClean also shouldn't have got anything from the FA, the Sunderland supporters were goading him all match and when he gives a fist pump at the end when West Brom won the rattles and teddy bears flew out the pram. It's pathetic grown men get so upset about such trivial things.

No need to do it in the FA Cup as it's a Saturday fixture tournament. It's a boring weekend when the 4th round is on and we're not in it and no league match.

It's not quite right to say CR doesn't fancy Mahrez on the flanks. He's just experimenting with Mahrez in the no10 role as it solves a lot of problems. 1) Mahrez isn't as good defensively as our other wide players. 2) ideally you want your No 10 to be one of your best players as it's a more important role than a wide midfielder 3) Okazaki has been one of our least effective players this season so by bringing in Mahrez there it gives us an opportunity to play two wide MF which is an area we have good strength in depth

He's not talking about us but if he was it would be nice that he feels he needs to play his mind games with us for added pressure.

Anyone from either side counting their chickens on this one is a moron. Both teams should be very happy with the draw. We've drawn one of three non PL sides left and from their point of view they've got a home draw and avoided one of the real big guns. It would be greedy of both of us to expect a better draw. It's as tough a last 16 for years though and it looks like if we're going to win it we're going to have to beat at least two of the traditional big 5 clubs. We don't look any closer to winning it than we did before the Bury game considering the quality of opposition left and how seriously they look to be taking this competition.

I agree with this. I've been a massive critic but he looked a decent player today and was very good on the ball for a centre half.
-
Do we know if this was a scouting team or Ranieri signing? I had huge reservations about signing him given his age, career to date and reviews of journalists and other fans opinions who had seen him play. However now he's here I'll give him a run of games before I have an informed opinion of him.

Plaudits for our Atmosphere, let's keep it up

Yes, otherwise it becomes the norm. Save them for special occasions. -
I remember when we sacked Denis Wise. He appealed and the decision was overturned and he was allowed his £36k a week job back at Leicester. I recall thinking WTF? as I knew a bit about employment law at the time and wondered how they could possibly overturn a decision to sack him when he had broke a colleague's jaw as he lay asleep in his bed whilst on a club trip. It turns out the appeal committee was some referee, Frank Clark and Robbie Earle. WTF do they know about employment law?

Kante is young and pursued by some high pedigree clubs. Benalouane on the other hand seems a very strange buy, little pedigree and fans and pundits who've seen him play are to a man saying he's overpriced and won't improve us.

I'm just making the general point that the best player for the 9th best team will probably be good enough to get in the 5th and 6th best team.
-
It would be a step down for Nzonzi, no question. He's 26 and POTY for a club that finished 9th. He wants Champions League football and to break into the France team for the 2016 Euros. Why would he sign a 4 year deal at Leicester and give his best years to a team that will probably do no better in that time than what Stoke are doing now? In The Sun today Stoke want to sign Shaqiri. He's 23 a Swiss international and played 52 games for Bayern Munich. We would have no chance of signing someone like him so why would Nzonzi leave to go to a lesser team? Nzonzi's level is probably a first team player for Liverpool or Spurs. He'll either get the move he wants or run his contract down and move on a free in a year. The only way he'd come here is if we threw a ridiculous amount of money at him and that's not going to happen.
-
You're bang on the money but I think Leicester were doing Stoke a favour rather than us thinking we had a hope of landing him. Sevilla will now be told to put up or shut up. FWIW I think he'll go on a Bosman next season.
-
Really? That's quite interesting. If we were to sell him we'd at least get our money back and where would we have been without his early goals this season?
-
How can Pearson be even considered for MOTY. We finished with 100+ points last year and could still be relegated yet with only two games left. He's done brilliant in the last six weeks so MOTM for April is sufficient. It would be nice if he won it for May as well.

There can be some very strange results when a team needs them late on the season. It would be great time to play Chelsea last game of the season when Chelsea have already won the league and no cups to play for. It's a meaningless game for them and they could play some squad players. The desire to win has to drop and Sunderland's desire should be at maximum, it could be a great leveller.
-
I agree and so do the betting markets. According to them we're the least likely club to be relegated out the bottom five, only marginal but the least likely all the same.

And Hull away. I'd guess every team can tell us about hard luck stories on letting points slip. Everything reverts to the mean eventually and at this stage of the season there's a reason why the best teams are near the top and the worst teams are near the bottom.
-
I don't believe that for a minute. Our squad is the best in the bottom six IMO or at the very least second to none. The article is right though we are going down with a whimper. We can't sack Pearson though as he is the only man on Earth who could get us promoted from the Championship. He's done it before you know.

Can't believe he's only 37 or still playing.
