    like a lot of people I am gutted to be out of CL.....but thats where it is...if the owners were to sack BR we would be as villified as when CR was sacked....we played well enough to get to second / third place and we can play that well again....we have no control over other teams upping their game next year, but if they do its a fair bet it will be with their established manager. One other thing...CL does not automatically mean a queue of players wanting to join a club ( it does help though!!)...the top teams attract the best based on history not just money offered...its good to have ambition...but this takes time, ups, downs, highs and lows...along with a bit of stability and consistency....

    I believe the phrase may be ipso facto? according to some on here.... We can only draw with Fulham away...must be managers fault......by that logic....Fulham getting the draw could be due to their managers brilliance...ie managers take responsibility....ipso facto...Claudio great Puel poor....we should sack the latter and employ the former? We got a draw...we could have won...if we sack Puel we could be in a mess...we are just a couple of points off 6 th because of other Teams like Everton and Man U drawing when they were expecting to win...tis football
