We're 2 - 0 up against 2nd bottom playing in first gear we are comfortable
-
I think some people need to realise 5hat sitting back and not being as dominant because you are comfortable isn't looking shakey its just game management
-
Not had a good last 10 minutes but was brilliant first half
-
L1 are good as always
-
I pretty sure Enzo said in an interview he probably only needs one striker on the bench recently unless I'm misremembering/ misunderstood ut yes problems with having a big squad means possibly less time for youngsters but Enzo has been pretty good at it so far
-
I like JJ but Doyle was brilliant before his injury if he can find that level again definitely deservs to play
-
Yes complicated but why did we leave it until the last day if we knew there were going to be more complications. Or even if we didn't know for sure we should have assumed there might be when we knew they were having to do a contract extension
-
Surely they will have all taken a wage cut when we got relegated and won't automatically go back to what they were on previously when we get promoted. I'm not disagreeing that we have a huge problem just think the extra income from promotion might soften the blow this summer. But if we still can't sell anyone the Jan and following summer are where we will see we are once again unable to buy and having to sell
-
Yes I think that's a pretty solid prediction we were on the edge before relegation but have significantly cut wages and spending since relegation so if we get promoted we will have prem money back and should have some wiggle room in the summer. Once that is spent though Jan and next summer we night have some serious problems unless we can ship out some of the dead wood for decent fees
-
I think that the promotion if we get there as we should will ease the financial difficulties for this summer but if we continue to make the same mistakes the following summer will be interesting
-
I promise you alot of them have quite a good idea what he does and what his role is and also absolutely back Enzo and his style of play
-
Again if you think that people wanting Rudkin out are just reacting to the Sensi transfer or this window you are missing the point
-
You know what this thread is missing.... A Rudkin in/out poll
-
Yes I agree and I also don't think Rudkin is the only problem but I do think he is a big part of it and a new experienced strong willed DOF would fix a lot of them
-
He is in charge of recruiting the Head of recruitment and working with them to get deals over the line though
-
Yes he was but also Walsh was still there. I think part of Rudkins failings is not properly replacing him
-
Yes those 2 year old dads are so common
-
Doubt he will be allowed to play though ad he is on loan there no?
-
At the time our scouts were signing diamonds Rudkin was not director of football
-
Fixed it

"the general sale fiasco" again though this is a management issue not necessarily an ownership one. I am at the point now where I do think we need a complete overhall in management and am calling for that. I still hope that can be done under the current ownership who have invested heavily in the club which we might not get with a new owner. Obviously if these changes don't come and we continue to have what seem to be horribly made decisions then my opinion might change but currently I don't think we need change in ownership just management.
-
I've made this point a few times now but here is showing the difference between before Rudkin as DOF and Steve Walsh as head of recruitment we signed players like Vardy, Mahrez, Morgan, Drinkwater, and cambiasso. Since Rudkin has come in and Walsh has left our transfers have been much less successful. Is this is because Rudkin is awful at negociating/ completing transfers or a complete inability to hire a competent head of recruitment and give them the ability to run the recruitment I don't know however both of these issues come under his Job description and it is plain to see that since December 2014 when Ruskin took over as DOF things in our recruitment department have got worse not better.
-
True and if nothing else Rudkin is failing at managing
-
The ones in bold also joined before Rudkin was DOF
-
Also people laughing at this but Drinkwater, mahrez and vardy were all signed before Jon rudkin was made director of football, Chilwell and barnes came through the academy so no Rudkin doesn't get credit for any of them
