Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
lcfcbluearmy replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I don't think it would have decreased our deficit it wouldn't gave solved it necercerally but if you have a player who has £15 million left on there book worth and you get £10 million for them rather than letting them go for free you only lose £5 million not £15 million -

The period that we have been charged for is 21-23, next year's period is 22-24 etc. You don't start a whole new 3 years -

We wouldn't be at the start of a new 3 year cycle that's not how it works unfortunately. The current period is 21-23 in which our financial results were 21: -31.2 m 22: -92.5 m 23: released at the end of March We have been charged with losing more than £105 million in these 3 years which means we have made less than a £ 18.7 m profit this season The next period that ends next march will include 22, 23 and 24 and one of these seasons was in the championship so we are only allowed to lose £85 million over this period rather than £105 million. Seeing as we lost 92.5 million in 22 we would need to make a profit of 7.5 m over these 2 seasons to be compliant and not be charged further in march next year Edit: the numbers I have quoted were the headline figures actual PSR accounted loss will be less due to allowable losses e.g. infrastructure and youth. However it likely won't be much different -

I'm not sure we are having reread the statement I think we are disputing and are annoyed about the failing to submit accounts charge. I'm not sure we are actually disputing the PSR breach charge -

Although obviously if we broke the rules we deserve to be punished (even if though I believe the rules to be wrong), I have more sympathy for us/ Everton than I do forest as at least in our case it looks as of we tried to cut spending to avoid breaching FFP and that is part of what caused us to get relegated. However Forest don't look as if they even tried buying 29 players in 1 transfer window I'd ridiculous you can't play that many players you can't even have that many in your squad so I have very little sympathy for that -

I mean we could just do a man city deny everything, refuse to hand over any documents, refuse to cooperate lawyer up and push the hearing back for 5 years -
Might not have been tou just seen lots of people on this forum suggesting that Chealsea are awful and we shouldn't have lost to them
-
There last 3 games they narrowly lost to Liverpool, drew away at Man City and beat Newcastle this isn't a bad chealsea team. They have had a poor start to the season but they are improving and still cost 1 billion pounds. Suggesting that losing away to them with 10 men is a bad result is ridiculous

Double jeopardy means as long as it wasn't violent conduct/ no attempt made to get the ball only a yellow can be given -

We comfortably competed, but we weren't comfortable if that makes sense? -

Good showing today showed we can comfortably compete with a billion pound premier league team. 4-2 flatters them we were on top in the second half until Doyle gets sent off. We should take confidence from that- 364 replies
