Kingy was asked what he message has been from the club about his role as interim boss. “Just try to stabilise the team while they look for a new permanent manager. There’s been no timeframe on it. We’ve just prepared for Charlton and that’s as far as I’ve been looking.”

King was asked how he has found the past week, since taking interim charge following the sacking of Marti Cifuentes. "It's been really good. I couldn't have asked of more of the players, they've bought into everything we're trying to do. "It's been busy. It came around quick and suddenly and you've got to be prepared and focused on the next game. A good week, but ultimately it all comes down to the game tomorrow."
