  1. I remember being so excited hearing that City were about to announce the signing of an England international.....oh the disappointment (Google it, yes Ricky Hill really did play for England. 3 times.)
  2. We were woeful last year and still somehow nicked a win - Brighton will be reminded of that I'm sure and will think they owe us one. It will be definitely be tight - score draw for me
  3. 2 guys in Sunderland shirts queuing in front of me for the best part of 2 hours last night in the freezing cold to sign the book of condolence - amazing gesture, but having spent 3 years living in Sunderland I know how great their fans are. I was blown away by all the messages and the efforts of other club's fans, especially what we're seeing on here from Cardiff and Burnley supporters. These two games are going to be incredibly difficult for us but it appears we will have no opponents off the pitch, only friends.
  4. Agree, let's keep it classy on here. Awareness raised, links to places to make a formal complaint shared and our views on what was done very clear. Lock the thread and let the proper action be taken by those who can.
  5. An away game first might actually be best and we should use the squad - Ward for Schmeichel for example. Who cares about the result. Less memories for the players, Vichai was always in the dressing room and around the players before the game. Burnley will be incredibly hard for everyone.
  6. As an STH I need to visit the stadium to pay my respects and offer my thanks to the family, but live some distance away and am working today. I have tickets for tomorrow's postponed game so am planning to still make the journey - it would be great if others were thinking the same
  7. I've watched City for well over 30 years. My ambitions each season have been to see a couple of decent games where we deliver above all expectations, have a cup run and above all don't get relegated. Anything else is a massive bonus (and consequently I still can't watch anything from 2015-16 with a dry eye). Even now my ambitions are unchanged.
