Wow, a lot of hate. Cags always needs a few games to get himself fully back on point. He's been thrown into a back 5 straight from injury with a winger, a 20 year old, a bit-part midfielder and the woeful Vestergaard. Yet another new defensive combo. Like all of our defenders he's lacking a bit of confidence and he's not having the best of seasons (multiple injury interruptions), but people suggesting he's not trying or not up to the job is ridiculous. He needs to step up with his leadership and command the defence more, but there's still a player in there. Until we get a settled defence none of them will perform to the level needed for a Premier League side. Except Vestergaard, he'd still be shite if he was partnering Maldini and Booby Moore...

People laugh at me but every year I say, 'let's get to 40 points and see what happens from there' with the hope of some great games along the way. They say I'm not ambitious - I definitely am but 35+ years experience of following Leicester have taught me to keep it cautious. Leicester have always been an 'interesting' club to follow whether it's defecting managers, cup exit shocks, rape accusations, fire extinguishers, corrupt refs, administration, basket case managers, League One, or the devastating loss of our incredible owner. Being a Leicester fan has never been about trophies for me, it's about the journey. Those big-name scalps and cup runs always ending in disappointment. I feel immensely proud that my club is in the PL, but I don't take it for granted. I celebrate every win like it could be our last. We can be 4-0 up and I'm still worried we'll lose 4-5. When we won the PL that was my least enjoyable season ever. The sense of impending doom was endless through every second of every game. Part of me hopes we never win it again because of this, but also because it will keep that story even more special I still expect our big name players and managers to leave, I know our place in the media created PL hierarchy. I don't ever want us to stop being the underdog.

I like to think I'm pretty loud at games, make plenty of noise, join the songs and get behind the lads. At the FA Cup final I had the Stone Island crew, unable to stand, completely off their tits constantly spitting in my face to 'get behind the f**king lads'. I didn't stop singing & shouting for 90 minutes and couldn't speak for a week afterwards. However this wasn't enough for Mr Stone Island who seemed to think he was somehow a better fan then me. It's not a competition. Most of my time was actually spent trying to ensure he didn't land on the old chap next to me who had been following City home and away for nearly 70 years but didn't sing a word. I know who won the competition that day and he didn't wear a sh!t expensive sweatshirt

One of my favourite players ever. Remember him taking out Cottee who was playing for Everton at the time, a league cup game of something, right in front of the Members Stand and then stamping on him as he got up, unseen by the officials. Cottee's scream was hilarious! Exactly the kind of player we needed to beat Derby's fancy Dream Team at Wembley - the story of him telling Tommy Johnson to f**k off in the Wembley tunnel epitomised the guy. Apparently he works for Nissan up in Sunderland

This is exactly what I meant. It's about working on positioning and understanding your team mates not just doing the leg work, which I agree has improved. Chilwell has been fortunate in having an excellent mentor in Fuchs hence why his development has been quicker

One thing missing from his comments - the recognition that he needs to work hard. Feels like he's expecting improvement to land in his lap and lets face it, work rate isn't exactly one of his biggest assets on the pitch

Coatsworth all day. A panel beater from Darlington, says it all I remember an early 90's league cup game (I think) where he took out Tony Cottee in front of the main stand, got up by stamping all over Cottee while still writhing on the ground, then just carried on with the game. Also the Tommy Johnson play off final Wembley tunnel story - hilarious, but basically put Johnson out the game before a ball was kicked. If anyone wanted that game at all costs, it was Coatsworth. Mauchlen comes a close second.....

Tin hat on here, but I think he looks more threatening and direct than others - specifically Nacho. When he came on v Cardiff he looked like he wanted the ball, was one of few making moves off the ball and trying to do something different. OK, he may be lacking in final product but I think he's a trier and we love one of those at City. If we need a goal in the last 15 mins I'd currently be happier seeing Ghezzal come on than Nacho

I think I watched a different game on Tuesday as I thought he was our MotM! He's agile, reads the game, plays it out of defence well, can beat a player and oozes confidence. I also don't agree that his passing is poor, he's one of few who actually play it into the path of the player rather than at them or behind them. He was also clearly distraught at missing the penalty (his penalty in the previous round was probably the best of all of them) - I think we have a real player on our hands here and would have no worries in him slotting in on a regular basis.

Summed it up on Tuesday night when Choudhary came forward from his defensive midfield job to successfully press the Man City defence when they were in possession - passing Nacho on his way. To be honest I don't care whether his first touch is non-existent or if he can't finish as long as he looks like he's trying and working for the team because that alone will create chances for others. The number of times the ball is played to him when he's ambling back from, or already in, an off-side position is astounding.

I thought he was good when he came on at Brighton - looked like he actually wanted it and I remember saying to my lad that he'd finally found a first touch. That's the only 20 mins of quality I've seen from him in 18 months. Work rate is woeful and pace non-existent. He needs to have 'Foxes never quit' tattooed on the back of his permanently half-closed eyelids....
