You look at the quality of that team, and the fact that it is emphatically one of the youngest in the PL, and concede the likelihood of the SOBs winning at least one PL title. Then you consider the last stretch run, all choke jobs and meltdowns, including a certain game where their starting outfield was more bothered to try to injure their opponents with cheap shots than play championship quality football. Not just evidencing, but screaming a fragile mentality. This from Pochettino goes a ways toward explaining it. If that is the attitude modeled from the top, they will always go well when the going is good, and bottle when the chips are down. Long live Poch at Spurs.

Just when you thought "journalism" couldn't get more useless and patronizing ... to spice your bland English breakfast on the morning of the most important game in club history, this remarkably bald, thoughtless statement of the same old, same old from one of the mofo's at ESPN. http://www.espnfc.us/uefa-champions-league/2/blog/post/3100951/leicester-decline-after-title-win-does-not-diminish-their-magical-champions-league-run Puts me in the mood to enjoy Mr Vardy scratching a few eyeballs out on his way to a brace.

Alls well that ends with that man claiming the jacket. Not a classic after all, but certainly entertaining. Cheers all

And it's Sergio! I could 2-putt this. With a fireplace poker.
-
Sergio's going to have to chip in to win it. Can't trust him on a tap-in right now.
-
Any one of three makeable putts and he's home ...
-
who you got? Heart says Sergio, head has doubts.

Two in a row left well short. That no-majors monkey must weigh a ton.

2-shot swing possible here.

Classic duel !! Two birdies on 16 ?

20 minutes ago this looked like a really disappointing Sunday at Augusta. Now ...

Some folks scramble better than others mind.

Rose's to lose. He is playing like an assassin while Sergio scrambles.

Wow! Five. Honduras is a shambles at the back, but we need this, we'll take it. -

Not the best night for Foxestalk either, reading through this thread. Anyone stateside tuning in for USA / Honduras? -
The diehard Foxes and Cleveland fanbases have too much in common. After spending weekly winter and spring mornings watching a superior City side handle team after team, by April I had little doubt. While you lifers kept waiting for the sky to fall. The joy of playing with house money. Of course, when the Cavs’ turn rolled around, I spent the last fortnight $#...ing bricks. Not so much expecting them to choke, as for the implacable gods to smite us with, say, a game 7 LeBron injury. I was struck almost dumb at the buzzer. So this is how 50 years in purgatory ends (!) I’m still stunned. But smiling. The last shall be made first and the first shall be last. Life is good.

Better get a punt in on the Cleveland Indians now.

p.s. the Fox-dancing-on-ball illustration looks a little too much like a Tottenham Hotspur logo. Just not sure which club is being trolled.

They have published their token quarterly sports article. The subject was inevitable, the content fairly predictable. http://www.economist.com/news/britain/21698271-there-are-lessons-learn-city-much-football-club-foxes-and-tigers http://www.economist.com/news/business-and-finance/21698059-leicester-city-management-lessons

Lurker outing myself… It’s all in a name. I checked out LCFC last spring, because mine is on the front and back of your kit, in the case of a certain homegrown midfielder. Was put off by the escapade in Thailand; but after I saw this year’s kit, home and third shirts were bought. And NBC Sports weekend games and FoxesTalk became part of my life. So hello from a total come-lately. From Cleveland, Ohio, I know living in a post-industrial city. Pulling for decades (including as an ST holder) for teams that always, always break your heart. Being in the house for some of the best-known US sports debacles of recent decades. I understand why there’s angst on this forum -- though not having lived and died with the Foxes, don’t share it. This is a freebie, the most fun I’ve had with professional sports. But I do “get” how brilliantly deserving this team is, and how long and dearly many of you have invested in this journey I jumped on for a lark. p.s. to many posters, a brief thanks for the primer on English slang and profanity. Occasionally visiting the Sunderland board for my full diploma in the latter.
