If you put your liability that close to £125 then, if Norman wins, you will make a very small profit. The backer's stake is how much you stand to win if Norman doesn't. I would put it at about 25-30 if you want to guarantee a nice little profit either way.

Just lay Norman at whatever people are offering. Currently 4.2. You will need to select how much you would like to win just making sure that you're liability is under £125.

I'm glad I backed Nadal when he was 7/1

I have so many DVDs I bought last term that I am yet to watch. Best film I have seen recently was stranger than fiction, sweet film but I thought it was excellent. I don't see many mainstream stuff, I like to buy DVDs when they get to below £5, you can find some absolute gems, Run lola Run & 21 Grams being some recent ones I got for under £5.

I am so pleased for Rafa. His mental strength is incredible and just as impressive as his physical strength. To stay focused in that last set was amazing.

I think Serena will win today (hope she doesn't purely because of her annoying celebration) and hopefully Nadal tomorrow. He has shown great mental strength throughout the tournament. Able to come from a set down. Able to silence the crowd with a Brit on court. Able to pull out the breaks when he needs to. Fed and Nadal are a class apart, I can't wait.

The thing is though with the way the tournament is lined up, Holland could well end up playing whoever finishes second in their group in the semi's. Who would you rather play? Italy, France or Romania? I can see a draw double being likely.

Just had a look at the Premier league odds on Ladbrokes. Man U are 2.10 and Chelsea are 2.75. Personally I would say the title is between these two, I can't see L'pool or Arsenal getting close. If you put money on both teams in in the ratio Man U 0.57, Che 0.43 then provided one of them win you can guarantee profit. 19p profit for every £1 I think. I just felt they were good odds considering how far behind L'pool and Arsenal are. You could chuck Arsenal in at 6.50 (the ratios would change) and still guarantee profit, but obviously not as much.

I started writing my bets down this year too. Found that I'm best at betting on the darts, made big profits from them. It's good for things like the Euro's where you can cover ongoing bets a little. EDIT: I'd be up for oker if I knew how to play. I want to learn. As a mathematician I feel I should be ok at it. In theory at least.
