Agreed, would have made the transition much easier. If Mads is out for any length of time I'd also imagine assessing who is the best number 2 will jump up the priority list - though if we're stuck with Iversen/Ward for any length of time then I think we're in bother.

I just don't think assessing who the second choice keeper is will have been top of Ruud's list in his first two weeks. He'll have just gone with the incumbent with so many more important areas to work on.

Ward has been on the bench as the keeper back up all season with injuries to our other keepers. Dunno why so much shade for Ruud on this.

We haven't looked great all season but have had an ability to keep the points total ticking over. Have managed to avoid being in the relegation zone all season so far and we're nearly halfway through. Just had our second blank of the season. We've been able to find goals. Suring up the defence would do wonders for our results. You haven't got to be good to stay up. Just better than three. 9 wins will be about right and we've got 3 so far. Wolves H, Ipswich H, Southampton H, Palace H, Everton A, West Ham A, Wolves A all give good opportunities and so far we've done alright against our rivals.
